Amazing. Excellent property. So well equiped and so clean. Amazing views.
A fully relaxing time irrespective of whether in or out of doors.
A holiday where it was not necessary to have a vehicle to get around or to the beach - a first and what a difference it can make, especially with young children. Everything that was needed was on hand - the owners have given it considerable thought. Services and provisions were underneath us but did not impose upon us in any way - simply added to the experience. Even the sun was in the right location (south to south-west facing) and the sight and sound of the waves each day made it exquisite - totally relaxing. It gave a sense of 'being away from it all'. The apartment has been tastefully decorated throughout and has available all that is needed. The beauty of it all (Porthtowan beach) is that it is not spoilt by over-commercialisation. It was like having a beach hut on the sands - bliss. The grandchildren loved it. Parking was adequately covered, to be able to leave the car close by and safe throughout our time there. A holiday to remember for a long time - thank you.

Really enjoyed our week in Porthtowan. The flat was clean, tidy and equipped with everything we needed. The location was great, so nice being able to walk a couple of minutes and be on the beach. Would happily return.

Thank you for the wonderful week I spent in your apartment. Nothing could have been better: the nice reception, even with a bottle of wine in the fridge! The equipment of the apartment, the view! The noise of the waves while falling asleep...
I hope to come back next year!

Porthtowan is Cornwall’s best kept secret
Porthtowan derives its Cornish name from its most obvious feature - its sandy beaches and dunes (towans). Porthtowan is located on Cornwall's picturesque North coast centrally located to larger town amenities. Porthtowan is situated midway between St Agnes and Portreath with views of St Ives Bay together with its lighthouse and harbour to the south, St Agnes Head, Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth to the north.
Porthtowan is also a popular spot with surfers. The village has a number of pubs including the trendy Blue Bar where you can enjoy a drink or meal while looking over the beach and ocean.
Life guards ensure your safety and the shallow areas and pools are a magnet of seaside wildlife. Surfing lessons and equipment are always on hire and there is plenty to see and do. For walkers, the South West Coastal Path provides a memorable experience with its many breathtaking views. Porthtowan’s coastal footpath passes through some of the most beautiful area of cliffs and adjoining land some of which is owned by The National Trust.
