Busy road, horrible beds, unfriendly staff, tv not working, no local restaurants or shops

Very unfriendly reception, we arrived 20 minutes to late (after a 1500 km drive!), which I phoned about an hour at forehand. Owner was clearly not amused and very unfriendly. We mentioned the tv was not working and we didn't receive any kitchen towels. But nothing was done! Showed hardly the small house, was very short and unfriendly. Not a great start of our holiday. Slept horrible. In all beds you could feel the bed springs through the matras. And situated at a busy and loud provincial road. House was filled with dead bugs, not clean at all. Dirty floor. Area is desolated and ugly, not as you would hope in Tuscany. No local restaurants, everything is minimum an half an hour or more driving distance. No shops nearby, no vineyards, no site seeing. All long drives. Please be aware before you book this! We did it because of the (very small) swimming pool but I wish we went some place nicer!

Enorm lelijk gebied van Toscane. Ver rijden van voorzieningen. Drukke weg. Onaardige eigenaar. Slechte bedden. Was echt enorm teleurstellend, hadden ons enorm verheugd op mooi Toscane met heerlijk eten en cultuur. Maar was alle dagen in de auto op zoek naar supermarkt restaurant of vermaak. Zwembad erg klein.
