Victorian Apartment in upmarket and desireable Chiswick, West London

Upham Park Road is a delightful tree-lined road moments away from Chiswick High Road and Turnham Green Terrace. The spacious apartment is situated on the first and second floors of an old Victorian town house, with high ceilings and contemporary furnishings.

On the first floor there is a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with seating for six, and a comfortable living room with deep sofas, and a seagrass carpet. There are three light and airy bedrooms; one king sized double room; one twin room; and a further single room. There are two new modern bathrooms, one with bath and shower; and another bathroom with shower.

There is a widescreen TV in the sitting room with all the Freeview channels, an iPod docking station and free Wi-Fi broadband access. The property is cleaned weekly, and there is a washing machine available. Towels and bed linen is provided.

You will be right next to Chiswick Common, a leafy playground for children, and the world famous Kew Gardens are also nearby. Turnham Green is a paradise of independent boutiques, offbeat stores and cafes. Chiswick High Road is also flanked with many a fine pub and restaurant – sample some stunning homemade ice cream, grab a pizza or dine in style at Michelin starred La Trompette. If you fancy a stroll, walk to the Thames (10 minutes) and watch rowing boats glide across river while you sup a pint in one of the waterside pubs, or have a wander around the Palladian splendour of nearby Chiswick House. If you want to head into town, the tube from Turnham Green to Green Park or Piccadilly Circus takes only twenty minutes. A taxi ride to trendy Notting Hill will take around 15 minutes.

Chiswick is one of London's most desirable suburbs, and is home to actors Hugh Grant, Helen Mirren and Colin Firth. The Turnham Green underground station is a two-minute walk away from the apartment, and is just 25 minutes from Heathrow station on the fast train, and less than half an hour from the West End.

traditional london flat

nice quiet area close to the District line and bus lines. West London means that you are 20 +/- minutes to central london on the tube. Great walkability in that there is a wide variety of restaurants, shops, pubs and markets walking distance from the flat. Felt safe walking early morning or late at night.

The cushions on the couches in the living room could be replaced, and a microwave in the kitchen would be a plus.

Plenty of space for a couple and their two adult kids (3rd bedroom is very small, but is its own room). Overall would stay here again.

Quaint community, close to trains and lovely home. Just what we were looking for.

Our stay in London was wonderful thanks in no small part to this cute home in Cheswick. It is close to the train stop, near a 24 hour grocery and many restaurants. Our family of 5 found it to have plenty of space. The warm water was a little wonky but worked once we figured it out (don't turn off the shower until everyone has finished, otherwise we could not get anymore warm water) and bring your own washcloths and hand towels as none were provided. Otherwise, could not ask for more. Thank you for providing such a lovely place for our family to enjoy all that London has to offer.

Very nice spot!

The host was very nice and helpful. The home has everything you will need. There are plenty of restaurants down the block. The train is a 5 minute walk from the home. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway from the hussle and bustle

From the moment Tom met me at the door and showed me around this felt like home. A lovely, clean apartment with comfy beds and everything we needed. The perfect hideaway and nest to escape at the end of each day. We'll be back!
