The property is very large and separated from the road by a high wall, where you will find the 15th Century villa where the owner lives and Villa Michelangelo. Each villa has its own entrance from a separate road and its own parking. Villa Michelangelo has a large, furnished and paved area leading to the large lawn which is shaded by olive trees and other trees. Here you will find the private swimming pool with hydromassage area, which measures 5 metres by 10 with a depth of 1-2.1 metres. The villa is on two floors, while the outbuilding is on one floor. The main villa is in typical Liberty style: most of the furniture is antique and creates an atmosphere of the past, reminiscent of the ancient splendour of Florence. To the right when you enter, you will find two steps leading down from the entrance to the large living room, with a large fireplace and complete with sofas, armchairs, satellite TV and DVD player. Two more steps lead down to a bedroom with two beds with direct access to the garden and to the bathroom with shower (no bidet). To the left of the entrance, three steps take you up to the dining room with veranda, from which you can access the garden and the outbuilding, as well as the fully-equipped kitchen with access to the veranda and a small bathroom with shower (no bidet). An antique stone staircase with 15 steps leads to the first floor, where you will find a small balcony overlooking the garden and the lemon house. To the left, a small living room with TV, a bedroom with 2 beds, a small kitchen with washing machine, a double bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub (no bidet). On the right, a double bedroom with bathroom with shower (no bidet), a double bedroom with bathroom with shower. The outbuilding, originally a lemon house, is just a few metres from the main villa and has a bright living room with large windows and a night area with 2 single beds, a small kitchen with washing machine and dryer, a bathroom with shower and bathtub (no bidet).
The villa, originally a hunting house for the Leon Battista Alberti family, is in a splendid panoramic position in a large property which also includes the owners’ house, very close to Florence which you can even reach by foot or with public transport which stops right in front of the main entrance to the property.
The villa has Wi-Fi, central heating, air conditioning in the rooms and in the living room of the villa, a baby bed, complimentary toiletries in the bathrooms, parking in the property.
The price includes: bathroom, bedroom and kitchen linen (changed weekly), internet, water and gas. Upon request and to be paid for at the house are a baby bed, extra bed (to be requested upon booking), swimming towels, cookery courses, dinners, hired help, extra linen changes, trips and tastings. The property also has a magnificent Italian style garden which can be visited upon request.
Pool available from April 25th to October 10th. Arrival time is between 5 pm and 7 pm and Check out between 8 and 9 am. The owners live in a villa on the same property in a completely separate and independent position.Activities and Distances
