Unique property sleeping 10 with adjacent accommodation available to sleep 2-6
Why Eve chose Kalkan
Unlike many villas in Kalkan which are not built to withstand heat, these villas are constructed with thick stone walls and deep, shady verandahs. The Turkish architect of this award winning resort built these villas originally for his own use which is clearly visible through the spacious accomodation and magnificent setting within the resort. The gardens and mature trees offer shade at all times from the blazing sun. It is so pleasant to have the facilities of enormous pools and restaurants without having to leave the resort.
What makes this Villa unique
The views from the villas over the bay of Kalkan are stunning, both in the daytime and when the lights of Kalkan create shimmering reflections on the sea at night.

We had a wonderful week in these 2 villas. The accommodation is beautiful, well stocked and spacious. The photos do not do it justice. We loved the location and the ability to use the hotel facilities really enhanced our stay. The roof terrace is fabulous and the views amazing. We highly recommend this villa and hope to return.

Spacious, luxury villas ideal for large families
These two villas are beautifully furnished and give a feel of space and luxury. The main villa sleeps 6, one double at ground level and two doubles at top level at either end of the property (there are three floors) so there is plenty of privacy if required. The second villa sleeps 4 in two bedrooms and is brilliant for teenagers who require space, grandparents holidaying with their family, or groups of friends. Each villa has a kitchen so you can easily have 10 people staying in the villas without feeling on top of each other. As the villas share the swimming pool and garden you can easily socialise together. The garden is lush and beautifully maintained. You can relax privately in the villa pool or take a 5 minute walk to the resort pools and seafront. (NB there a lots of steps in this resort but a shuttle bus runs frequently.)
Kalkan is a lively town with numerous places to eat and shop. While here we had a go at the water sports in the bay, tried out a Turkish bath in a local spa, drove into the hills to experience the trout restaurants and visited places of interest, all within half an hour. If, like me, you need to get out each day it's easy to pop into town either by car or by boat from the resort and still have plenty of time to relax in the villas. There are supermarkets within easy reach.
Eve is a caring owner and has a supportive team who made sure we knew where everything was and made recommendations as required.
I would highly recommend these villas. They have everything you need to ensure your holiday is relaxed and comfortable with a feel of luxury.
Beautiful villa in fabulous location
Our family stayed at this gorgeous villa for 10 days. It is the largest, most exclusive villa in the Patara Prince Resort, tucked away on the hillside just 5 minutes walk from the sea front, and with its own private pool and garden where you can choose to sit on the verandah or lie in the sun or shade under trees. Quite heavenly, and very quiet.
The villa itself is on 3 floors, with large luxury living spaces on ground and first, and spacious bedrooms, modern bathrooms and well equipped designer kitchen. The roof terrace is perfect for taking a sundowner, and has the best unbroken views over the bay to Kalkan from anywhere in the area. Eve was the perfect host, with much attention to detail. She has a charming team of locals from villa manager to gardeners, and recommended restaurants, local places to visit (do see Xanthos and Letoon) and - best of all - Ahmet's Sunrise boats for a day trip out around the bay and islands.
I would return to stay there like a shot. We spent much time on loungers laid out on private sunbathing platforms dotted around near the water's edge and snorkelling in the fresh clear sea, water ski ing, swimming to a floating deck, and lunching at the poolside bistro/snack bar. Also took a boat over to Kalkan, which takes only around 5 minutes, and went on some walks in the countryside. Just 10 minutes from the villa we found 4 tortoises just off the path.
All in all, I couldn't fault the villa and resort and general area on the Lycean coast, and will definitely be back!
Stunning property in a beautiful location
The property was just as I was hoping from the pictures: very beautiful and lots of space. The rooms were clean and the property in general is in good condition, clean, well looked after and also far better decorated than other places I've visited. It is well suited to groups or large families and has enough space for people to be all together or have their own private space. It was peaceful to be by the private pool but because it is so close to the sea, which was warm, we spent most of the time there to swim. I would definitely recommend this as a place to visit and hope to do so again myself.
Luxurious villa and gardens by the sea
What we loved about this place are the extremely lush and beautifully maintained gardens. The outside areas are an absolute pleasure: we hung out by the pool, under the bougainville on the first flour balcony, on the rooftop terrace, watching the sun go down over Kalkan bay.
The house is spacious, but has a warm and cozy feel to it. It's beautifully designed, fully equipped, super-clean.
Just a walk down the stairs we picked one of the many private terraces by the sea for a swim. Kalkan and nearby Kas are two charming traditional Turkish towns. We discovered Turkey's longest stretch of beach, Roman excavations and a stunning gorge, all just a drive away from the villa.
I am highly recommending this place to anyone looking for a private, relaxing holiday - Turkey's Mediterranean coast at its absolute best.
Most villas in Kalkan do not have direct sea access. The Patara Prince Resort is built on the hillside with villas cascading down to the seashore. All the resort facilities are available to guests, yet seclusion and privacy is an option if preferred. Kalkan is a charming town with old cobbled streets, a multitude of bars and restaurants, many on roof top terraces to take advantage of the balmy evenings and wonderful views over the town and bay. There are numerous historic Lycian sites to visit within easy reach of the villas and superb beaches at Patara and Kaputas, a 20 minute drive away.
