This place is perfect!!!! Great location, close to shopping and restaurants and the wonderful Wednesday market!!

Wonderful outdoor space to eat or have a cocktail and a hot tub to soothe your muscles after a great hike with spectacular views! Great kitchen and a washer and dryer. Plus screens on the doors and windows so goodbye fly's! Another plus is the garage to park your car as parking is scarce!

We have been gong to Europe for 25 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed!

Great place to stay

We were a party of 5 travelling. We enjoyed the facilities of this property. It is ideally placed a short walk to the village. There is secure car parking which is a real bonus. Highly recommend.

outstanding experience

our week spent in this charming house in the center of st remy was excellent. we plan to come back and stay here again in the future. the house was in perfect condition, immaculately clean throughout with very fast wifi. monsieur pucci was a very warm host and was consistently responsive to our needs. the location was two or three minutes walk from the center of this charming provencal town. we'll definitely be coming back to this house again in the future. thank you

wonderfully comfortable house

We spent twelve sunny days in early May at the house in St. Remy. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The three bedrooms were more than we needed but gave us room to spread out and take naps. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage. The two bathrooms (one up, one down) were most welcome. The kitchen was well laid out and well supplied. We cooked for ourselves most evenings, and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer were far less complicated than most we have encountered in Europe and were most welcome during our longish stay. The dining room is very comfortable, though we ate outside most evenings because of the wonderful weather. The TV in the living room worked well, though we would hope for more English language channels rather than just news.

The closed garage just behind the house was clean and spacious and we did not worry about our rental car.

When we had minor difficulties (burned out lights, dishwasher malfunction), Benjamin was right there to help put things right.

Though the house is on a main street, there was very little noise. We walked two minutes to a splendid bakery, another minute to a brasserie where we had coffee and pastry several mornings while watching people walk by. In between is a great restaurant (da Peppe )with a roof deck. There are plenty of restaurants in the town if cooking in is not your thing.

On Wednesdays the market is remarkable. Not just in the town square, but all down the side streets as well. Great variety of things and fun to browse as well as to buy.

The asylum where van Gogh spent most of the last year of his life is very interesting and just on the edge of the city. Les Baux is a couple of kilometers beyond and very crowded, but well worth seeing.

We used St. Remy as a jumping off point for excellent day trips. Arles and Nimes are close by with their Roman arenas. Avignon is close by with its bridge and the huge Papal Palace. Aix is a bit farther but worth the trip, as is Montpellier in the other direction. Both larger cities with cathedrals but easy to navigate. The highlight of our day-tripping was going to the Camargue, the marshy delta of the Rhone. Stes. Maries de la Mer is a charming small city. The ornithological park is breath-taking with the pink flamingos in the shallow water and flying with their beautiful red wings exposed. In all of these day trips, the GPS was quite handy.

A great experience overall. Five stars.

St Remy-de-Provence

We greatly enjoyed our stay at 16 Avenue Albert Gleizes in St Remy. The house was always warm (despite bitter April winds) and the garden was brighter than we had expected from the photographs (catching the sun during the day). Benjamin welcomed us and responded immediately to our needs. These were for an electric kettle, bath towels, and sufficient crockery for the six members of our party. We thought the description of the property should have made it clear that the larger first-floor bedroom (which is light and airy and has a full-length window overlooking the garden) is open to the staircase and so without privacy. This was not a problem for our party, but others might wish to know.

Comfortable stay with central location

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for one week with our four children. The apartment was very comfortable. The kitchen offered me the chance to prepare meals for the family without having to deal with the stress of eating in a restaurant with my kids (ages varied from 13 to 4 years old). It offered a lot of extra amenities - washing machine came very handy for the kids clothes and covered garage was nice to have. The Jacuzzi was an amazing way to end a day of sightseeing. St. Remy is very central to a lot of sights in Provence.
