Wonderful find in St Remy

Highly recommend. The owner, Benjamin was great and readily available. We were six adults, and spent a week in St Remy. The house was wonderful, well appointed, very well constructed and maintained, well equipped kitchen. It had ample room for us all and was very conveniently located. Fabulous area to visit with many outstanding day trips without driving far. Shops, restaurants, bakery all in short walking distance. Wednesday market in town center is fabulous.

An amazing Provencal townhouse

9 picture-perfect days in sunny Provence, with each starting and ending at on Rue Albert Gleizes in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. Benjamin's and Stephanie's charming townhome is perfect in every way. It is very spacious, immaculate, and everything you need is already provided. The location is 2 blocks from the center of town, where wonderful cafes, stores and restaurants, as well as the fabulous Wednesday market, await you. The house has been very thoughtfully and lovingly renovated, with an abundance of light, and cross-ventilation. After various market visits, the open kitchen allowed us to cook and socialize with everything needed at hand. At night we enjoyed an appertif with our amuse-bouche in the lovely zen garden while listening to the mesmerizing chi-chi-chi of les cigales.

Each of the three bedrooms has a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage room for clothes and luggage. The two baths were large, and well-designed. The washer, available in a laundry room adjoining the kitchen, was very much appreciated, as my husband is a runner. And having an indoor parking space across the street eliminated the need to circle the block while looking for streetside parking, which is very limited - a huge benefit. My husband also works when we travel, and the fast internet and wifi accommodated 2 computers, a printer, a scanner, 2 ipads and our cell phones without any problem.

Saint-Remy is an ideal central location from which to venture out to the rest of Provence - it is all very driveable. You can visit the Pont du Gard one day, and Cassis and the Calanques the next. Benjamin and Stephanie are delightful hosts, and were available for any questions or issues we had (even when we locked the garage door key in the garage!) We did not want to leave! We are looking forward to a much longer stay in this delightful home next time.

Modern Townhouse Just Outside Old Town.

This was a restored townhouse on a major street a few blocks outside of the historic center of St Remy.

The owner lives next-door with part of their townhouse over the downstairs bedroom of the rental unit.

The entire home has been restored in a modern motif. Full kitchen, dining area, sitting area with large TV, 3 bedrooms (one on ground floor and 2 upstairs, 2 bathrooms, and a small clothes washer and dryer. Parking is in the back either on the alley or in a locked garage. There is a small but lovely little garden out front with a hot tub. We enjoyed are stay in St Remy and found the house comfortable and convenient. We did recommend to the owner that a typed list of instructions for the internet, TV, range and oven, washer and dryer as well as some recommendations for local restaurants would be most helpful.

Beautiful property. Very modern facilities. Great oven for people who want to cook. Washer/driar.

Great impression, first class. Very nice outdoor area to sit at table, eat, drink coffee you can easily walk to village we waLked every night and we never felt unsafe. The village is so clean.

2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 downstairs. Great showers with great water pressure. We loved this spot and will recommend it to out friends.

Well refurbished cottage close to centre of town.

Well refurbished, clean, well-equipped kitchen, attractive outside space, garage parking and helpful host.

We were cold during our stay but there was no central heating, plus only 1 hand towel per person and 1 tea towel, so if you want a bath towel take your own! Quite disturbed by noise coming through floor of flat above occupied by owner's family.

That said, we liked its position in the town, which we thought was delightful and did consider overall it was value for money.

Owner's Response: Hello thank you for your message. It's good to have the apreciation customers, to improve. The house is equipped with hot and cold heating. You had to ask how to run hot. We provide towels and tea towels. If you had requested more towels, we have given you in. We live right next door. Only you for 5 years, to talk about the noise problem. In your message, I do not see that I made you races. Because you had to arrive late. I offered you the races. You had a problem with the wheel of your car. I changed the wheel you at 9 pm. I find your inappropriate assessment. Regards

Very spacious and comforatable

Apartment was clean, comfortable, close to lots of restaurants and shops, plus Benjamin was very accessible whenever we had a need or a question. St. Remy is a good central location for exploring a large part of Provence.
