Despite its proximity to a busy road the property was well insulated from road noise. Well equipped for two. Only adverse comment is the bed, which we have to admit we did find too soft. Apart from that would certainly recommend.
A lovely cottage, with a good sized living room with open fire. And a great base for walking - there are lots of walks you can do directly from the cottage, the loch is just over a mile away. Or for driving further afield, the cottage makes an excellent base from which to explore the area.
Great little cottage
We loved our stay. The cottage was lovely with everything we could have needed. Some reviews have complained about the roundabout and poor wifi, neither have been an issue for us in any way what so ever, you can't please everyone. Our dogs were sad to leave too. The brew making bits and bobs on arrival was very much appreciated. We could not fault our stay or our hosts who were very friendly and welcoming. I would reccomend this cottage to anyone!! Thank you!!!! :)
Thanks for the great review , we are pleased that both of you and the dogs enjoyed your stay at Crosskeys
Cute little cottage
The cottage had everything needed for our stay. Craig very helpful. Traffic noise early morning due to the closeness of the main road. Otherwise lovely stay.
Stunning, Friendly, Great facilities.
We arrived late, no problem. Could not work the TV, no problem. Nothing was a problem. I really think this location made the holiday spectacular. Why would you want a big fridge?
Small but comfortable, spotless and very well decorated, everything necessary was there!
Short break of 3 nights, really lovely cottage, well situated for sightseeing, and very well equipped. Absolutely spotless inside and out , and just a nice size for us .Had a nice little fenced area with table and chairs, and barbecue, but was too wet to use!the only problem was the low wall round the main part of the garden, easy to clamber over for dog or child if unattended for a minute, and it’s right on a busy roundabout.
