Short walk to one of the best local Italian eatery.
Silvia recommendation for a place to eat and she directed us to a local place which was outstanding!
Everything as promised.
A nice 15 minute walk to downtown. There is a bus right out front but the was is too easy. Nice stop and the ferry service deserves better reviews.
Such a beautiful place to rest your head and tired feet!
Beautiful and very clean. Located in a quiet neighborhood a good walk away from city center. We could have stayed closer in to the city center but really enjoyed the peacefulness of the location. Walk is about 15 minute to the center of town but there is also a bus that will take you there. We never took it because we enjoyed the walk. Silvia and Andrea are very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
Very clean , host was very helpful
Comfortable and Clean. Everything we needed.
Great apartment. Sylvia was very nice and helped us feel comfortable upon check-in. Excellent location. Excellent restaurant and bakery close by. Easy to get to by bus or walking.
Lovely base for exploring the whole area
Silvia's apartment was ideal for four adults. It had everything needed for our one week stay. Silvia was an excellent host, being very responsive to any queries. The apartment was ideally situated to explore the region. The Cinque Terre was busy, but not too busy. Portovenere was wonderful and we enjoyed day trips to Levanto, Lerici and Sarzana, all of which were easily accessible by train, bus or boat. La Spezia itself was far nicer than we had anticipated. The whole area had stunning scenery, and prices were very reasonable. We went on several walks around the Cinque Terre national park - reasonably challenging but not too difficult for four moderately fit 60+ year olds. We would all thoroughly recommend Silvia's apartment and the surrounding area.
The Fabiano Basso neighborhood is located in a strategic position with respect to the tourist attractions of the area. It is located at the junction that leads on one side to the coastal area of Marola / Le Grazie / Portovenere, and the other to the Cinque Terre, via the scenic Coastal Way.
Nearby you can find many hiking trails in various levels of difficulty.
The city center and Central Station are within walking distance through the cycling / walking track with a pleasant 20-25 minutes.
