Located on a small holiday park with other lodges just under two miles outside the lovely coastal town of New Quay and less than a mile to the nearest sandy beach. Surrounded by trees and in a tranquil valley the park includes a playground, walks, trails and plenty of space for children to play and enjoy the outdoors. There is also a small pub on site that only opens and serves food at selected times.
New Quay is a picturesque seaside town and has 2 great beaches that are family friendly. The harbour and the sea play an important part in the town with dolphin watching, fishing and bird watching boast trips all available from the Quay side. In the past few years the dolphins have proved a major attraction and can even been seen from the shore on clear days. They have also been known to swim into the harbour and amongst the boats. new Quay also has several restaurants, pubs, cafes, an ice cream parlour and some small shops. Dylan Thomas the famous Welsh poet once lived in New Quay and it is believed that he wrote many works whilst there.
Aberaeron lies about 6 miles up the coast and is a worth a visit. This Georgian seaside town has a busy harbour and several boutique shops. Slightly further North is the cosmopolitan University town of Aberystwyth. As the largest town in Ceredigion it has plenty of shops and amenities. Near Aberystwyth you can visit the Cambrian Mountains for some of the best mountain biking in the UK, and there are many great local beaches including the large Ynys Las Nature Reserve.
Inland from New Quay the Teifi Valley has many beautiful Castles and Cenarth Falls is also worth a visit. Traditionally the Teifi is a salmon river and this is reflected all along the valley with strong links to the traditional salmon fishing industry.
