What makes this Villa unique
Welcome! Archipel Mansion is perched on the highest point of Fira, the capital of Santorini. The area, as the Mansion itself, is steeped in a rich history. Boasting with an ever changing 180 degree view of the Santorini Archipelagos and the famed Caldera, this is a place for quiet reflection – drawing inspiration from the extraordinary – leaving one feeling positively revitalized. Such is the power of the soul stirring vista; and with its whitewashed villages, charred black cliffs, and blue Aegean Sea, Santorini is one of the world’s top island destinations. At Archipel Mansion we aim to offer you our ideal balance of contemporary Greek island life: natural living, privacy, comfort and a small glimpse into the everyday way of life. Our philosophy is twofold. Keep it Extraordinary: Private & Authentic, with laid-back luxury at its best. Keep it Personal: Discreet Service with an “in” to the real Santorini. Whether you’re looking for historical places of the world, sun drenched beaches, a family getaway, or simply savouring the view we look forward to sharing our elegantly crafted home with you.

100% exceeded our expectations.
Centrally located in Santorini, this beautiful, stunning mansion had panoramic views of the sea. Sunrise and sunset from the balcony/porch were breathtaking. Constantine was so helpful to coordinate many wonderful adventures on the island. He brought us delicious breakfast every morning and we cannot say enough how wonderful it was to have his guidance for our 2 families traveling together. 10+/10
thank you very much for your kind words.
It was a pleasure hosting you all in Archipel Mansion.
I am very happy to hear you enjoyed our hospitality and we are looking forward to meet you again in the future if you decide to visit Santorini.
On behalf of the Archipel Mansion team,
Great to work with
The house is charming and location is very convenient. The balconies are huge and the views are amazing!
Above and beyond all expectations
A group of 9 of us stayed at the mansion in late August for 3 nights but we are wishing it was a lot longer. Angeliki, the mansion manager, went above and beyond in every aspect. Because we almost got scammed via another website we were skeptical and wanted to make sure our transaction was secure and she jumped thru hoops to ensure it was but this is just the beginning of her amazing service.
Santorini is a confusing island with lots of twists and turns but that's part of the fun (I think). The mansion is at the top of a hill and definitely in the cut so the right turn to get to it is little blind and unmarked. If you make it to the Salt & Pepper restaurant, you went too far. There is no parking on site but right outside of the property you can park if there is available space or approx. a block away is a parking lot which usually had a lot of free spaces for ATVs and cars.
Lastly and what is probably most important - the service we received from Angie (property manager) and Violetta (housekeeper). There arent words that can explain how amazing they were. Angie made sure everything was perfect from day one. She arranged a delicious breakfast every day we were there and also managed to help me arrange a surprise birthday dinner at the mansion for my friend's birthday. She hung a banners and signs, even blew up balloons and wouldnt let me help her with anything. And Violetta was so sweet and amazing - while we were at breakfast she slipped into the rooms and cleaned them in record time. I was seriously amazed at how we would go to breakfast and return to the room and everything is straightened up, bed made, etc. I mean WOW - that level of service and the extra effort to make our stay amazing is unheard of in today's times.
I cannot say enough about our experience at the mansion and look forward to returning in the next year or two. Angie and Violetta - thank you both for everything you did for us.
Archipel Mansion is located to the northern highest point of Fira, in the most unspoiled part of the old town, known as Fraggomahalas. Just above the Mansion you will be impressed by the restored castle-house Goulas, one of the five medieval Casteli of Santorini, the only fully restored. By the edge of the cliff is located the Nomikos conference center, which houses a well known music festival that takes place each September. A few meters below you can visit Megaro Gyzi, a renovated family mansion of 17th century, converted to a cultural center owned by the Catholic Church. Of great importance is the Catholic Diocese complex, comprising the churches of St John the Baptist (mid-17th century) and the Rosaria Dominican Convent (built in 1825). If you find yourself at the time of Holy Mass you will feel –actually listen- the medieval origins of the Order, a tradition that continues to our days with the 14 nuns living permanently at the monasteryNearby of great interest is one of the oldest mansions in Fira, The Vazegios mansion with Venetian architectural influences. The older firianoi (inhabitants of Fira) still remember Aunt Eleni, the youngest of the seven Vazegiou daughters, staring – in the company of her beloved cat - from her room’s window in the upper floor. Right in front of the house lies the Archaeological Museum with a beautiful indoor patio and palm trees on the renovated square right in front.
Nearby lies the cable car that leads to the old port. Last one we must mention the splendid small church of Agios Stylianos, clinging to the edge of the caldera, which is rightly one of the most recognizable landmarks of Fira.
