Superbly located Soller townhouse with pool, just 6 minutes walk from the square



Superbly located and stylishly decorated, this 200 year old house is just 6 minutes' walk from the main square, yet it offers the peace and tranquility of a house in the country, with superb, uninterrupted views of the Tramuntana mountains. The pool, terrace with a BBQ and the garden filled with orange and lemon trees catch the sunshine all day. There are three bedrooms, all with air-conditioning, two bathrooms with an additional shower and WC, a well equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and three seating areas. Free wifi is included. Please note, the maximum occupancy is four people.
The house is a 200 year old Mallorquin house, and is built on many levels.
Like all such houses, there is a steep staircase, and for this reason, as well as the furnishings, many steps and the swimming pool, we do not accept bookings when there are children under the age of 8 in the party. We like children and have two of our own but we just don't want sticky fingers or crayons on the walls in our house! We've made exceptions before, and regretted it, so we are being stricter now.
Car Hire: The house has a dedicated parking space but the access road is very narrow and for this reason we recommend that you hire a small car, such as a Golf. But if you want or need a bigger car, you can park it on the road up to the cemetery, or in the cemetery car park, which is a four minute walk from the house.

Peaceful Paradise
Cas Panares surpassed all our expectations, the house is homely and has everything you could need, plenty of comfortable indoor seating and two dining areas one inside and one outside. The beds were very comfortable. The views from the house and gardens are stunning, surrounded by mountains and it's so peaceful. The pool is a good size and there are plenty of sun loungers and seating plus two large umbrellas for shade. Soller is a fabulous town, full of local tradition, we were lucky to visit during the festival of St Bartholomew so there was a lot going on. The tram, train and buses are regular and we had days out in Palma, the port and Fornalutx, plus a wonderful day out on a boat that we hired just for the family. We never go back to the same place twice but we will definitely return to Soller and would love to stay in this beautiful villa again.

Lovely house in great location
Property is spacious and well equipped, pool area is clean and well maintained. Communication with owner was excellent and accommodating, we enjoyed our stay very much. The location in Soller is a little challenging with the road system, but worth the effort. Soller itself is charming but very much a day trip destination so busy.

A wonderful Mallorcan home from home
An absolutely fantastic week in this stunning villa, set amongst some breathtaking scenery. This is a wonderful home, very spacious (we didn't even use all the rooms), with a particularly good kitchen to make cooking 'at home' as special as eating out. And the pool is fantastic too, and a wonderful way to soak up the views throughout the day. It's a perfect base for walking into Soller town for groceries, meals and coffees - and the nearby trams, trains and buses make Port de Soller and Palma extremely accessible without needing a car. We hope to be back again soon!

This property is perfect. We did not want to leave. The host was helpful with all of the queries we had before and during the stay. Fell in love with Soller. The town centre is beautiful and we found volts of places to eat. We would love to come back. The view from the pool is stunning!

Lovely property in delightful town
The villa was lovely, full of quirky features, stylishly furnished and full of character. The pool was a good size and much needed as it was very hot. However, itt would have been good to have more shaded areas or parasols to enjoy the outside spaces.

I first visited Soller in 1986 and have been returning every year since then. In 2001 I bought property in the area which has been rented through Owners Direct/HomeAway. I am a television producer and have shot many series and programmes in Mallorca and particularly in Soller; I also made a documentary about the Soller Railway commissioned by the railway company.

Why they chose this property

There are many house to rent in Soller - so why choose Cas Panares? The answer is location, style and service. In terms of location, it is hard to beat: just 6 minute's walk from the main square and all the cafés, shops and restaurants. It also offers the peace and tranquility of a house in the country, a swimming pool, sunshine all day (very unusual in Soller), and wonderful, inspiring views of the Tramuntana mountains from the terrace, and a garden filled with lemon and orange trees.
The house is very much our private house which we rent: it is not a typical "rental property": It is well furnished and stylishly decorated. As befits a house which is 200 years old, it has great character and a great atmosphere, but with all the modern conveniences: air conditioning, central heating, free wifi, a well equipped kitchen. There are two bathrooms, plus an additional shower and WC. Light and airy in the summer, when you can expect to eat every meal outside. In the winter it is warm and cosy, a great base for anyone wanting to walk and hike in the surrounding mountains.

What makes this property unique

Because Soller sits in a valley, very few houses are fortunate enough to get the sun all day. Happily, Cas Panares' unbeatable location means that it does that enjoy sunshine all day, and wonderful, uninterrupted views of the Tramuntana mountains. It is also very unusual for houses so close to the town centre to have a swimming pool, and a garden filled with fragrant lemon and orange trees. It offers the best of both worlds: a town house in the countryside, and a country house, with a pool and garden, very close to the town centre.
