Only if you have low expectations

The views from the apartment are as described, stunning. The block is itself ex-Pierre et Vacances and is therefore quite basic in build, but of a perfectly acceptable standard with regard to fittings and fixtures. The lift wasn't working when we were there but was being dealt with.

The apartment itself was not of the quality we had been led to believe as it had obviously not been cleaned properly, if at all, before our rental started. There was stagnant foul smelling water sitting in the dishwasher, the owner advised that this was from the previous tenant and upon his advice we ran a programme which resulted in the stagnant water flooding the kitchen. Unfortunately this issue was not dealt with immediately as the owner was on holiday himself so we were left for four days. We also had problems with the hot water not being available until 10am each day and issues with overall cleanliness of the property, such as mould around the fridge, dirty appliances and dust everywhere. We advised the owner that in view of the state of the apartment we couldn't possibly stay for our entire prepaid holiday.

Hi, our previous review was not deemed acceptable despite our carefully checking what was acceptable and what wasn't and not contravening any aspect. I have re-written the review and hope it now meets your criteria. We have photos of all items we have called dirty, including the dishwasher. We also have texts and emails proving every thing we have said. What I have not included on this review is that the owner wouldn't give us a refund which may be what you objected to in the first instance. However we have approached our Credit Card company and they will be dealing with the issue on our behalf as the owner refuses to correspond with us. Please let me know if you have an issue with anything I have put above. Incidentally, I don't think this property, in our experience, even rates a one star yet your system insists we give it a one star rating.

Lovely apartment

This apartment was in a good order throughout and in a great location. We were surprised to find the area was so quiet, but I suppose that is to be expected in mid October.

The apartment offers fantastic views across Douarnenez Bay and beyond. My only minor criticism would be that the smaller room is really really tiny, just enough space for a set of bunk beds and space to stand beside them and no storage bar under the bed. But as we had only one 12 year old sleeping in it that did not present any problems, the top bunk was her wardrobe!

The included parking space in a secure carpark under the block with a lift to our floor was also very handy.

All in all, I would recommend a stay here. It's a lovely apartment in a lovely part of France.

Belle location tout confort

Appartement très agréable conforme à la description, calme et offrant une belle vue mer.

Point de départ de promenades et escapades plus lointaines.

Nous y avons passé un très bon séjour.

Le contact par sms avec le propriétaire manque un peu de convivialité.

Très belle vue sur mer appartement très bien équipé 2 salles de bain avec plage thalasso supermarché

Le garage est utile et les chariots pour monter les bagages est pratique

La laverie nous a permis de faire une lessive en milieu de séjour ( avec un bébé indispensable)

La baie de douarnenez est magnifique sous le soleil et les lumières sont différentes tout au Long de la journée et d'un jour à l'autre

Trop froid pour la piscine qui était en train de se remplir!!( début mai)

Je conseille cet endroit à tout le monde

C'étaient les premières vacances de mon petit fils accompagné de sa mère et de sa grand-mère , de quoi faire un magnifique album de photos

Alors allez y!!'
