Villa Periscope sits high, overlooking the volcano caldera, the island of Santorini and the Aegean Sea. Facing west to take advantage of the sunset views near Imerovigli, an area sometimes referred to as the “balcony to the Aegean”, Villa Periscope offers the ultimate in both privacy and views.
Combining modern lines and shapes with traditional Santorini design, Villa Periscope is built on several levels following the natural terrain. The living areas open to sea-view terrace living areas and expansive pool decking. A shaded pergola and sunbeds provide comfortable spaces for enjoying the views, poolside. There is even a giant chess set on the pool decking and the back terrace hosts a small basketball court.
Traditional Santorini vaulted ceilings arch over warm wooden floors in the open plan living spaces. Lots of windows and glass doors bring in the light. In addition to the main living area, there is a dining area seating six, an office-library with a sea view balcony, a TV room, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry area and a convenient guest powder room.
Three spacious bedroom suites are on the upper level and both open to sea view balconies. A guest bedroom is on the lower level. The basement holds a final bedroom, which is best suited for staff or teens. It is spacious, and has a private entrance, but no windows or views.
Although private and secluded, Villa Periscope is also conveniently situated. From this Santorini luxury retreat, it is only 1.5 km. to Imerovigli, 3 km. to Exo Gialos beach and 9 km. to the airport.
