The seaside village of Mundesley is 2 miles for a sandy beach, and considered one of the best beaches in Norfolk, with swimming for youngsters when the tide is out, and a thriving village centre with shops, golf driving range, cafes pubs and restaurants. Happisburgh and Sheringham are also within easy reach, and the popular seaside resort of Cromer is 7 miles for a sandy beach, promenade, pier, zoo park and cliff top golf course. Mundesley also has a golf course. Wroxham, ‘Capital of the Norfolk Broads’, 10 miles, offers boat hire and river trips. For dog walkers the 280-acres of Bacton Woods are just 15-minutes by car, with three waymarked walks to enjoy. The Gunton Arms serving food (set in 1000 acre deer park) is just a short drive. The city of Norwich, 23 miles, is excellent for shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market square, cafes, and restaurants. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
