We have the best location for a rental home in Red Lodge; we are close to town (4mi), the ski area (3.5mi), a local fishing lake, and have the added benefit of being next to National Forest Land. We have amazing mountain views without any obstruction. We are only 4 miles outside of the center of town but you would think you are in your own little area. The home sits on a 1 acre lot right next to the national forest. If you enjoy hiking you can drive down the road to Wild Bill Lake or just walk right up the mountain behind the house. For those that would rather look at mountains than hike up them you don’t have to look far because you have mountain views from every area of the house. We are only 3.5 miles to the ski lift and 5 miles to the Beartooth Scenic highway (which you can take to the NE entrance of Yellowstone National Park approximately 60 miles away). We also are available to help you design the perfect vacation and activity level for your group (request more information after booking).
Our home is professionally cleaned after use so you can relax knowing everything is perfect.
Because there are so many activities to do we do not provide internet but there is a flat screen t/v with dish network. There are multiple areas in town where internet is available.
The house is 2 stories with 4 bedrooms and a large oversized loft (The house has 4 Kings, 1 queen, 4 bunks, and 1 sofa pull out). It will comfortable sleep 16 people and has 3 full bathrooms (1 with a jacuzzi tub and steam shower). We have a washer, dryer, kitchen with all appliances and utensils for feeding large groups. We also understand the stress of traveling with little ones and we provide a basic pack n play for their comfort.
Our main residence is in Florida but we love the mountains. Our children have spent all of their summers in Red Lodge, hiking, white water rafting, 4 Wheeling, horse riding and just enjoying the cool mountain air. I am sure your family will come to love this area just as much as our family has.
Lauren Lacy purchased this house in 2000
We wanted a property close to town but also away from it all. It took a while but we finally found the perfect home and location.
Views from every direction, hiking trails within a mile of the house, proximity to town and also being very close to the ski area for winter activities
This is a great house for families with children. Plenty of room for kids and adults. Very close to ski run and town as well. The house was clean and ready. All appliances in good working order. Bed linens and towels very nice and plenty of towels. I have recommended to friends and we would love another ski vacation there with better weather. We love shopping and eating in Red Lodge .
We had a wonderful vacation. The house was a nice size for three families. There were six adults and three toddlers. Everyone could have their own space and there was plenty of room for everyone to get together. The children enjoyed playing with the toys and games that we found. Very close to the property we found great cross-county skiing and a perfect sledding hill for the little ones. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We look forward to returning in the future.
My family and I just spent 4 days over Christmas at this house. There was ample room for everyone and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Red Lodge!
The property was everything we hoped for. We had 7 adults, 2 kids & a toddler. The space was perfect. The kitchen was adequate and had most major items needed. My son-in-law is a chef and he cooked all week for us. We drove the Beartooth Highway, Chief Joseph Scenic Highway, went to the pig races in Bear Creek and the rodeo in Cody. The manager was very responsive when we needed anything. A good time was had by all!! Thanks
very peaceful. redlodge is just so cool, a real western americana town.
We want to thank you so much for opening up your home to us. What a great place you have and there are "mountain views from every direction". We really enjoyed the patio area the proximity to town but the out of town feeling the home provides. The Beartooth Highway is a must and what a great drive. We will definitely book this home again.
With a location this great there is something to do for everyone. If you desire a relaxed vacation you can sit on the porch and scan the mountains for wildlife or take a scenic drive up the Beartooth Highway (End of May through beginning of October weather permitting). There are also a couple of beautiful lakes that do not require an intense hike. The town of Red Lodge is very quaint with a main street carrying all the shops and restaurants. If you are looking for adventure you will find an array of outdoor activities ranging from light to more challenging. In the winter the ski mountain has everything from bunny slopes to double black diamond; the hiking trails range from child friendly to over night backpacking trips.
