About Dawn McIntosh
I am a Solicitor and my husband and I purchased the cottage in 2014. The cottage was in a dreadful state of disrepair when we bought it and we worked hard to restore it. We named the cottage Salty Kisses. We started holiday letting in August 2015, and it has proved very popular. We have two sons, Aaron (12) and Isaac (10) who love surfing. We absolutely adore the Northumberland coastline with its gorgeous, yellow sandy beaches. We also own Sandy Toes cottage, connected to Salty Kisses, and together they sleep 12.

Why Dawn McIntosh chose Seahouses
We fell in love with Salty Kisses because of the amazing views over the harbour. From the top floor you can see Holy Island, Bambrugh and the Farne Islands. The colour of the sky on an evening changes every half an hour and sitting watching it with a nice glass of wine is amazing.
What makes this Cottage unique
The most unique benefit of Salty Kisses has to be the stunning views.

Just what we needed as a break between Christmas and New Year. Property in a great location with a spectacular view and brilliant living area. Well equipped and warm. Plenty of walks and fresh air for family if 4 plus Labrador. Dawn was a fab host and very helpful. Love the North East!
Flint family, thanks so much for your wonderful review. Very best wishes for 2019.
Loverly home with wonderful views
Loverly cottage with fantastic views and convenient for the town centre. Has everything you could wish for and relaxing to come back to after a day out in Northumberland. I could easily live there.
Thanks very much Judith for your wonderful review. Guests enjoying their stay means so much to us.
Clean, bright and modern
Thanks very much for taking the time to leave a great review. You were equally a lovely guest. Best wishes
Beautiful cottage in an excellent location.
My family and I (2 adults and 2 children) stopped in this beautful cottage for a week in August, the cottage has been furnished to a high standard, it was spotless and had everything we needed, providing stunning views of the harbour, Farne Islands and Bamburgh Castle.
The cottage is in an excellent location, a couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre of Seahouses or by the harbour. We took a lovely walk one day from Seahouses across the sand dunes and beach to Bamburgh Castle.
Dawn who owns the cottage was extremely helpful and provided quick responses to any questions I had.
We really enjoyed our week away and would definitely stay here again.
Cosy and comfortable
We were a group of 5 mature (!) ladies spending a few days walking and visiting this beautiful area. The house has a lovely view over the harbour and was very conveniently situated for shops, pubs restaurants etc. It was perfect for us, very clean and well equipped (although no freezer which might be a problem for ice cream lovers in the summer!) and the sort of place where it is nice just to stay in and relax - which we did! Although lots of stairs imagine it would be a lovely place for families too! Owners very helpful and house feels very much loved and happy!
Thanks very much for taking the time to review our cottage. So pleased you enjoyed.
Stunning upper cottage with brilliant views!
We are a couple with 2 small children and absolutely loved staying at the cottage! Its in a quiet square and is beautifully decorated, with everything you could need. It overlooks the harbour (over the roofs of cottages in front) and is a v short walk to the beach/restaurants. Seahouses is a nice little village with a lovely beach but we also went to Bamburgh and Alnwick which are really beautiful. Luckily we had good weather most of the time and spent a lot of it at the beach or looking at the rock pools!
Would def recommend, thank you!
Thanks so much for taking the time to review our cottage. As we have just started to advertise with owners direct, this means a lot. Hope to have you back to stay with us again soon. Best wishes. Dawn
