Lovely old thatched cottage very quiet but close sea and towns
Lovely kind helpful hosts, excellent welcome groceries including wine and all the essentials friendly chickens pony and sheep.
Excellent location, beautiful property and very quiet.
Superb location to access all of Dorset, in a gorgeous cottage opposite a very quiet church. Very much recommended.
Beautiful cottage and garden
Beautiful ancient cottage from the outside, fully equipped comfortable holiday home from the inside. Great garden with a lot of friendly animals :) Very large welcome package with freshly laid eggs from the hens & ducks living in the garden! Perfect basis to explore Dorset (we had a rental car). Don't be to afraid of spiders, I guess they just live in the thatched roof and come indoors constantly. We definitely want to come back!
Excellent ! Loved it .
Lovely cottage and lovely people .
lovely property in a beautiful village
had a brilliant stay, would love to come again next year
A little gem
Lovely little cottage in a very quiet village with friendly neighbours. I wasn't too sure about the combined lounge/bedroom before I arrived but it wasn't a problem at all and I soon felt at home. The welcome pack was very generous, the owners had thought of everything - even the dog had a bowl of treats. I would have spent more time in the lovely garden but the 'livestock' would have excited my dog a little too much but it was lovely to look out and see the ducks poddling about. This is the first time I've rented a cottage just by myself and it suited very well indeed. Many thanks for a lovely holiday.
Just under 3 miles walk to the coast. Just 7 miles to Dorchester and the sandy beaches of Weymouth. Pilates classes in the village. Cricket Club that sells good beer. Farm shop and garage walking distance. 12 miles to National Sailing Center Portland (25 minutes)
