A high quality, modern spacious (105 sq m) air conditioned apartment with two outside terraces, a balcony and four bedrooms, sleeps 10. The location is superb for those looking to step out and have the park, beach, port, restaurants, bars and shops all within easy reach.

The train and bus stations are close by with access to Barcelona, Tarragona and Reus. The airport at Reus is 20 mins by taxi or 45 mins by bus. From the port area in Cambrils, there is a bus transfer to and from Barcelona airport taking approximately 2 hours. Barcelona airport is a 1 hour car journey.

The apartment is situated on the 1st floor and there is easy access via the stairs or lift. Easily accessible when using a wheelchair or pram.

The spacious living area has a large modular leather sofa with a 55" smart TV with access to your Netflix and other apps. In addition to the TV there is a Blu-ray player with a selection of films. To cater for today's family internet needs, a recently upgraded fast fibre optic Wifi has also been installed for your use.

Within the living area there is a dining area with a modern table and chairs. The living area leads off to a balcony with seating and views to the pedestrian street below.

All the bedrooms are double in size with one having access to a private terrace and another with an ensuite. There are two very comfortable double beds in two of the bedrooms. The third bedroom has a single bed with a pull out single bed underneath. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds suitable for children and adults.

Off the kitchen is another terrace used for the washing machine and clothes line and keeping all outside beach toys and 2 adult bikes.

The modern open plan kitchen diner is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and a spacious fridge with a top freezer compartment. There is a smart 48" television with access to all apps including Netflix. It is possible to socialise and hang out in this area with bar stools provided.

There is a new, high quality master bathroom and a new ensuite. The ensuite has a spacious shower, toilet and basin. The family bathroom has a bath, 2 showers, a basin and toilet. For families with young children there is a travel cot, baby rocking chair and a high chair.

The apartment has on demand hot water provided by a new boiler. There is new air conditioning in all bedrooms and lounge/dining area.

About Sarah Lawfull

We are a family with 3 year old twin boys and one on the way! We live in Hertfordshire just north of London. We are professional working parents in Technology and Tennis. We bought our apartment in Cambrils because we fell in love with the beautiful town, its beaches and cycle routes. Great days out for the family at PortAventura and world heritage sites in Tarragona. Also being Barcelona supporters (55mins away by car) and ski lovers (Andorra 3 hours away by car) the apartment is a perfect location for us.

This is our holiday home and although we only bought the apartment in the Summer of 2015 we have stayed there several times already with friends and family. The short flight from Stansted to Reus coupled with a 15 minute taxi ride to our apartment, makes this destination convenient and great value.

Why Sarah Lawfull chose Cambrils

Great location, so convenient. This area of Cambrils is thought of as one of the best locations to stay. Walk out of the apartment into the town, bars, restaurants, beach and park. The walks along the front are breath taking. The views of the mountains next to the beautiful Mediterranean sea is so inspiring. Being so close to the beach is convenient with kids as it is so easy to pop back or just cross the road and sit and have a drink or a meal.

Great ice cream and coffee shops and fabulous patisseries. Cambrils is known as a gastronomic centre with endless choices for excellent food. It's also a fishing port so the fish in the restaurants is fresh and tastes fantastic. We often go to the local fish markets and barbecue our own as well.

We are a short walk to the bus and train station and this makes sightseeing excursions very easy. For example, a short ride away is Portaventura theme and water park. Great to do several days in a row at Portaventura as there is so much to do. So handy to have the tourist information centre across the road to plan our days out and find out the local knowledge of the area.

A lovely and spacious apartment with easy access and very family friendly. The roof terrace has a private pool, kids area and sun bathing loungers for only those living in the apartment block.

What makes this apartment unique

Brilliant location with everything at hand: beach, park, port, restaurants and bars with much of the centre being pedestrian only. Spacious apartment with two outside terraces and a balcony. With the kids, it is comforting to know access to and from the apartment is located off a pedestrian way. A private roof pool for the apartment block and sunbathing terraces is available for those moments you need tranquility.

Fabulous apartment, location and food etc!

This was our first time staying in Cambrils and it was brillant. The apartment had everything we could wish for, from bikes to floats for the beach! This apartment was centrally located to restaurants and shops and the beach and the pool at the top of the apartment was an extra bonus. I could not recommend this apartment highly enough and have already checked for availability for next year!

The apartment was so well located, just a few steps from cambrils port and the beach. it was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with everything we needed for our stay and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Communication with the owner was very professional and she answered any questions within 24 hours. The beds were really comfortable and it was a pleasure to stay here. Only one slight thing that might be changed. Both me and my sisiter walked into the pation door beleving it to be open as its so clear and she ended up with a bruised nose. It wasnt an emergency but maybe a strip across the door might help. But overall a fabulous apartment that I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. There is so much to do in cambrils and the quality of the shops , restaurants and beaches are really superb.

Central, modern and home from home

We were two families travelling together (9 people) the accommodation was very central the space inside was brilliant for us which is rare in a central apartment. The little extras like cupboards with supplies such as sugar, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper and coffee) was great. The apartment is right in the heart of the best area of Cambrils (in my opinion) - the port area, where rows of cafes and restaurants abound. We parked in the free car park by the beach using the car very little, we thought next time we wouldn't bother with a car. We did visit a beach we'd been to before in the area called Saint Jordi a gorgeous little bay. The beach at Cambrils was great for our teenage children as it offered water sport facilities and was near enough for them to walk to when they wanted. The apartment was quiet even though it was in the thick of it. Our one and only criticism would be in the 2nd double there is not much wardrobe/storage for clothes. Our 4 teenage boys shared the children's room which had ample draws and space and the court yard outside this room was great for smelly shoes and dirty socks!!! We would recommend this apartment and Cambrils we only had a week here so have left things to do next time!

This is a spacious, well equipped and well located villa. the photos do not do it justice!

Our family had a wonderful time at this apartment. We were met at the villa and had a thorough run through of its numerous amenities. There are communal sun lounger's, swimming pool and children's play area on the roof of the building. The bedrooms are cosy and well equipped as is the kitchen. There is Netflix, children's toys and books, a secure courtyard and a balcony overlooking the street with both table and chairs and small couch area. The aircon is swift and modern. There are fantastic paintings dotted around the home- it really is a lovely apartment and the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make it a comfortable and pleasant place to stay!

Within the local area there are 2 supermarkets within a 2 minute walk from the property. And a well equipped park is across the road, with the beach just a few minutes in the other direction. Numerous good restaurants in the square (some are in the trip advisor too 10!) you really couldn't get a better location. The area itself is family oriented and the locals were always very welcoming to our group which included two toddlers despite how upmarket they might be - a change from home where you sometimes dread taking children into the more fancier restaurants! It's worth brushing up on your basic Spanish as we noticed that not many people have any English although everyone who couldn't speak English really did their best to try to understand us and help us- the people of Cambrills are very friendly and we were made to feel welcome everywhere we went and our two toddlers were always made to feel especially welcome which was so lovely. our group would definitely recommend staying in this apartment and also recommend holidaying in cambrills. 9 out of 10 from us!

There is a beautiful park, Parc de Pescador, opposite the apartment and by the sea, with a lovely cafe and restaurant. There is a market in the old town selling fresh produce and clothes. In season the little tourist trains take you up there and back. The tourist information centre is 100 metres away and they speak multiple languages and are very helpful. Cambrils has lots of well organised tourist events and local attractions for families. Excellent town for family and fine dining, drinking and shopping. Miles of sandy beaches with great walks and dedicated cycle routes along the front. Because the miles of seafront are so flat, it is ideal for prams and wheelchairs. The apartment has a lift and a wheelchair friendly ramp in the entrance. Explore the nearby world heritage of Tarragona from Roman and medieval eras. The Gaudi centre in the Plaza del Mercadal, Reus is really worth a visit and finish off the day with a glass of Vermut at the Museum of Vermouth. For families a must visit is PortAventura water park and theme park. It is so vast and there is so much to do that you need at least a two day pass. In addition to the rides, the shows and music were really enjoyable and a welcome break with our picnic. The apartment is only a 15 minute ride away, so when we were exhausted at the end of the day we only had a short journey home. There is also a local bus and train service from Cambrils to PortAventura park that runs daily. The local tennis facilities are excellent and we have also taken up padel tennis. Play golf at Club de Golf Bonmont Terres Noves, 18 km by car. An excellent course and a beautiful clubhouse with a stunning view.
