A PROPERTY WITH A TOTALLY UNIQUE LOCATION! GUESTS CAN ENJOY COUNTRY WALKS, AMAZING VIEWS AND A ROUND OF GOLF, YET “The Wee Gem” COTTAGE IS ONLY 5.5 MILES FROM THE LIVELY COSMOPOLITAN CITY CENTRE OF EDINBURGH. THE PROPERTY IS ALSO ONLY 4 MILES FROM EDINBURGH AIRPORT.

This COTTAGE is surrounded by countryside and has incredible walks on the doorstep, both in the beautiful historic Cammo Estate and also along the River Almond all the way (2 mile river walk) to picturesque Cramond with its beach, harbour and access to Cramond Island. The uninterrupted Views from all cottage windows are exquisite, looking over colourful fields, Turnhouse golf course and all the way over to Edinburgh Airport.

This is also a very central location for touring with lots to see and do in the surrounding area. The Cottage is only 2 miles from the village of Corstorphine with its many cafes and independent shops. Edinburgh Zoo is also under 4 miles away and there is easy access to the city centre. Local to the property (within 2 miles) are two 24hr supermarkets, The Gyle Shopping Centre and Hermiston Gate Retail Park.

There are many pubs and restaurants close by including The Glamorous Maybury Grosvenor Casino and Restaurant which is open until 5am!!

The Train, Tram and Bus services to town are all within 2 miles of the property.

The cottage is in an ideally situated spot for travelling all round Scotland, with easy access to the M8 to Glasgow and the M90 to Perth - the Gateway to the Highlands. Perth is only 38 Miles and Glasgow 41 from the property.

The cottage has a fully enclosed Private rear garden, safe for both children and dogs. There is a very sociable patio area right off the main house with table and chairs, BBQ and wood burning Chiminea.

There is also a luxurious HOT TUB with adjustable power jets and colour changing lighting, sitting on the raised purpose built deck. The HOT TUB has outstanding views over the fields, right to the runways of Edinburgh Airport. Adding to the spa experience there is also a Sauna and changing room in the outbuilding accessed from the rear garden. Both the hot tub and sauna can accommodate up to 6 people.

To the front of the house there is a gated driveway with enough space for 4 cars.

The cottage offers THREE bedrooms: 1 king-size with en-suite shower-room and power shower, 1 double room and 1 twin room(the double and twin are both upstairs with WC). It has a freshly decorated Family Bathroom: with a 10.5kw shower over the corner bath. The spacious lounge has a real open fire, a 42” flat screen TV and full Sky package including Sports and Movies. Off the lounge is the kitchen with breakfast bar, electric oven/hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and pod coffee machine. There is more than sufficient crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

There is also a small attractive dining room.

The title says it all - it is an absolute Wee Gem!

The cottage is amazing. It is in the country, very private and quiet being the perfect place for a small family gathering. After attending and walking around the Royal Highland show everyday, it was nice to come back and enjoy the hot tub or relax in the Sauna. The BBQ allowed us to have great dinners every night and sit outside to enjoy the view.

Thank you Vicky and Guy, you have provided a real home away from home with this property.

Take care.....we can't wait to come back and visit again!

A lovely cottage in a great setting. Perfect for a relaxing restful break

The cottage is a well maintained comfortable property - real home from home.We could not fault it in anyway.

The surrounding area is lovely with excellent walks with the dog - particularly the Almond/ Cramond Walkway.

Watching the planes land at the airport whilst relaxing in the hot tub was amazing.

Easy access to the centre of Edinburgh by efficient taxi service.

Great place for family and dog

Very well equipped with the obvious bonus of the sauna and hot tub. We were left a very nice selection of necessities on arrival. Loved the fire on cold days.

Also a note for dog owners. There’s a very nice dog room but also plenty of room elsewhere for the dog to lie down. The garden is very safe and easily enclosed to keep the dog in.

stunning property, great location
