About the property

This apartment is my really lovely and very comfortable 2 bedroom ground floor garden apartment, well-equipped and stylishly furnished with a perfect south facing view over the lovely grounds and pool area, and located within easy walking distance of the Marina and centre, Pinhal golf course and the Hilton Hotel. Sleeps 4 people plus an infant (the apartment has its own travel cot). Rental licence no: 24749/AL.

The apartment has a double bedroom with air-conditioning and built-in wardrobes and a smaller twin bedroom with air-conditioning. It has a brand new family bathroom with large walk-in shower cubicle, full bath with shower-over, vanity unit and WC. Also a guest cloakroom with vanity unit and WC.

The apartment has a lovely open plan living room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped including fridge/freezer, oven and hob, microwave, George Foreman grill/BBQ, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and ironing board. There is also a small safe, a hairdryer, travel cot, highchair and linen, towels. Pool towels are also available. Within the private terrace and garden, a rattan sofa set, patio table, chairs and 2 loungers are all provided for guests use.

There is free WI-FI throughout the apartment.

The bright and spacious open-plan lounge diner, has a SMART TV, UK TV channels (via Satellite), DVD and a speaker with docking station to enable you to enjoy your own music etc. There is a comfortable sofa and two armchairs, and a lovely view through the wall-length patio doors which open onto the private terrace and garden, with direct access over the lawns to the swimming pool area.

There is a large communal pool just visible and easily accessible from the apartment with a small children’s pool too.

There is a cafe, bar, hairdresser/beautician and a SPAR supermarket within the Locality and it is around a 15-20 minute stroll to the Vilamoura Marina and beaches, or you could take the tourist train which passes by regularly in the summer.

Please note the apartment is on the ground level with no steps or lifts to negotiate so is well suited to young families and guests with mobility challenges.

The apartment has underground parking as well as street parking areas.

The apartment is principally a cherished holiday home for my family, but is also rented out using a professional, local management company who will meet and greet all guests and provide local support during your holiday.

Great apartment, fantastic location

We are a family of 4 and have just returned from a most wonderful holiday in this beautiful apartment. It is in a great location with a supermarket, snack bar and restaurant within the complex and several restaurants just a few minutes walk away. The marina is a 20 minute stroll through a lovely pathway or a short taxi ride (about €4) The apartment itself was spotless when we arrived and is very spacious. Having our own garden area was a great bonus as the kids could play with the football and bat and ball which were left in the apartment. Sue had thought of everything-there was even a set of family board games and cards which we used every afternoon when escaping the midday sun. The pool area is very tranquil, set in a well tended garden. The complex is quiet and family orientated so we felt it was safe and secure at all times. Sue has been excellent throughout the booking process answering all our questions and having Jackie there to meet us and explain about the apartment and Vilamoura was fantastic. She was a great point of contact while we were there. Having airport transfers organised for us made our travels that bit easier and smoother. We loved this apartment so much we are returning next year!

Beautiful Apartment Home From Home

From the moment we booked this apartment to the day we left we received excellent service and support, with care and attention to detail from the owner and the resort management.

The apartment is very well located with some really nice restaurants just minutes walk from the apartment. Alternatively a short walk to the old town or a little longer to the Marine around 20 mins depending if you have little feet with you or not. The marina was just 4 euros by taxi on an evening or when its just to hot to walk :)

I couldn't fault the apartment at all. The double bedroom was very comfortable especially the bed, with more than adequate storage and very nicely decorated. The twin room was on the smaller side but again had adequate storage for our little boy and his toys :). It was also very nicely decorated with very comfortable beds . Both bedrooms had air conditioning but as the apartment was very cool this was only used for 1hr before bed then switched off. We managed with the desk fan if needed during the night even with temps reaching high 30's.

The kitchen had everything we needed and more, it took me a little while to figure out how to use the white goods, but got there with a little help from the owners handy guide.

The bathrooms have been completed to a high standard it was very handy having a 2nd toilet especially with a family.

The open plan living room and dining area flowed very well with great attention taken to comfort and decoration.

The outside patio area was were we spent most of our evenings with a nice bottle of red. The furniture was very comfortable, it was so relaxing and peaceful watching the birds and the beautiful gardens.

During the day the pool was very quite, which suited us very well and only a short walk from the apartment very close for a quick dip if needed. The pool needs a little maintenance there are a few small tiles missing but it didn't bother us we ensured our little boy had water shoes on just in case.

We booked the airport transfer through the management company and the food package. This went very well, gave us peace of mind and reassurance transfers would go to plan. It was very handy to have the food package as the local shop was closed when we arrived.

We all had an amazing time a family holiday to remember!!!! Will be back if the bank manager will allow and would recommend the apartment to anyone.

I'm pressing the the management as hard as I can to complete repairs to the pool, it was due to have been completed by end May , so is overdue. great idea to put water shoes on as kids just don't tend to look ! Lovely, well equipped apartment in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and the marina

Lovely welcome from Jackie who was waiting for us as the taxi dropped the three of us off. Sue had been a pleasure to deal with in the run up to the holiday, arranging any extras like airport transfers and food packages etc. which Jackie sorted out in Vilamoura so they're a perfect team.

The apartment was just as the photos suggested - smartly decorated and furnished with a nice private garden. The patio had been updated with new furniture also and the pool 30 seconds away but separated by the well kept trees in the gardens.

The vines framed the doorway to the apartment and it was the smartest looking on that block.

Parking at the front was convenient and despite always being busy we never failed to get a spot.

The kitchen was well equipped and it felt sociable cooking in an open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Really nice and recently modernised roomy bathroom with large shower as well as additional cloakroom.

Would highly recommend to friends and family especially with a cafe, a bar and a Spar mini market within a couple of minutes walk from the front door.

Beautiful, spacious, ground floor apt close to Vilamoura centre

My wife and I stayed for 1 week in June in this lovely, modern apt with all mod cons. It is a very spacious ground floor property which opens out onto a lovely patio and private garden which is not overlooked. Also south facing so gets the sun most of day and has nice sunbeds and patio furniture. Close to communal pool but quiet and private. Easy car parking outside and only 2 mins in car to Centre of Vilamoura or Quarteira and approx 20 mins walk to Marina. We will definitely go back and could easily stay longer as had excellent wifi and TV facilities. Thank you Sue and Jackie for super service.

One of the best holiday apartments I have ever stayed in: perfectly located, beautifully presented.

This beautiful garden apartment is, quite simply, one of the best holiday apartments I have every stayed in. I stayed with a friend in mid-June 2016 and was, I think, one of the first guests to use it.

Located a mere 20-minute walk from the bars, shops, and restaurants of the beautiful marina at Vilamoura, it has all the facilities and features that holidaymakers would require. The large sliding doors open to a landscaped garden that is full of flowers and has a large swimming pool (with a pool for children). There is a lovely seating area just outside the doors and very comfortable sun loungers. We spent our days enjoying the quiet setting and the lovely view, which the photos can only partially capture.

The apartment itself is spacious, very clean, and exceptionally well equipped. It has a lovely, calm atmosphere and is beautifully furnished. We stayed during the Euro 2016 football tournament and were particularly delighted with the satellite television that receives perfect reception of all the main UK channels and radio stations. The kitchen has every facility that a family or group of friends would require, including a George Foreman grill. The shower in the bathroom, meanwhile, would take its place in a five-star hotel.

There are several shops and cafes very nearby. The walk to Vilamoura itself is through a lovely park. As we wanted to be able to visit the marina without using a car or ordering taxis, this location was ideal. Other complexes in Vilamoura can be some distance from the marina.

Sue - assisted by her property manager in Portugal (Jaqui) - was an exceptional and very charming host. She answered all email queries promptly, forwarded all manner of useful information, and made sure that our stay was enjoyable. She clearly takes great pride in her apartment and is anxious that anyone using it enjoys their holiday.

Should I return to holiday in Vilamoura, I would first seek to stay at this apartment. Highly, highly recommended.
