Amazing apartment in Covent Garden, central London, near Piccadilly Circus

Great 2 bedroom apartment in the heart of lovely Covent Garden, in the famous Seven Dials! Everything nearby - shops, history & attractions, cafes, theatres, parks.

Guests have private access to the whole apartment, which is private (with private bathroom). Sleeps 6 comfortably (2 king-sized beds and 1 convertible sofa).

REQUESTS: When you make reservation, please reply with your:

1) ARRIVAL time to London and which airport/station (check-in is from 14:00 to 22:00); and

2) DEPARTURE time (check-out is before 10:00am in morning).

This is to coordinate your keys/handover and cleaning.

SUPPORT: I'm continuously on my mobile to support you. I reply to questions in advance of your trip, coordinate a personal handover-greeting, and am available if needed. Otherwise, I leave you in peace to enjoy the stay with full privacy.

ADVICE: I have lived in the area for a number of years and can give tips and recommendations on the area.

MANUAL: I provide a printed manual in the house for essential info (wifi, heating, local food store, recommended restaurants, etc.). So, most questions are answered.

*****HOUSE RULES*****

1. TIMING: Check-in (arrival) is between 14:00 and 22:00; and checkout (departure) is at 10am (morning).

2. TOILETRIES: We provide some courtesy essentials -- soaps & toilet paper, but only a limited supply. There are convenience shops nearby for your personal needs:

-Marks & Spencer at 107 Long Acre,

-The Convenience Store at 3 Monmouth Street.

3. NOISE: Please no noise after 11pm.

4. PETS: No pets.

5: SMOKING: No smoking inside the apartment.

6. LUGGAGE STORAGE: There is no "concierge storage" facility. "Excess Baggage Company" provide storage at EVERY MAJOR train station.

7. HOME LET: Guests should be familiar with the home rental ethos. This is not a hotel or new build or luxury condo; it does have the characteristics, idiosyncrasies, and comfortable features, of a lived in and loved home. We maintain and invest in our lovely home, strive for excellence, and provide 100% of what we advertise; but we also hold guests to account for knowing what they are purchasing in this market range.

8. DEPARTURE: Please remember to take all personal belongings (jewelry, electronics, jackets). We do not have a lost & found service, and the apartment may be inaccessible for a long time with the next reservation. In rare circumstances where we can access, find, and support a return, we may apply a £30 charge (time & labour) in addition to the cost of shipping & postage.

***TRANSPORT*****

METRO/UNDERGROUND:

There are 3 different metro stations that are on 3 different lines (all only within 2-5min walk):

-Leicester Square station on Northern and Piccadilly lines;

-Covent Garden on the Piccadilly line;

-Tottenham Court Road on Northern and Central lines.

ACCESS from AIRPORTS:

(After the 30-60min for Customs & baggage), all airports are another 45-75min transportation:

-HEATHROW AIRPORT, using METRO (1 hour; ~£3/person): It is direct and easy to use the metro/underground. Take the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square station.

-GATWICK AIRPORT using TRAIN: Take the train to Victoria station  (1 hour; ~£20/person); then

    a) Taxi (10 minutes; ~£12)   or

    b) Metro (25 minutes; ~£3/person): from Victoria station take Victoria metro line to Green Park station. Take Piccadilly line to Leicester Square station; walk 0.3km.

-STANSTEAD AIRPORT using TRAIN: Take the Stanstead Express train to Liverpool Street Station (1hour; ~£12/person); then

    a) Taxi (15min; ~£13) or

    b) Metro (30min; ~£3/person): from Liverpool Street Station, take Central metro line to Tottenham Court Road station; walk 0.5km;

-LUTON AIRPORT using TRAIN: Take Luton Airport Parkway to St Pancras Train Station (40-60minutes; ~£15). Then

    a) Taxi (10min; ~£12): I recommend a taxi since it is close (only 25 minutes walking); or,

    b) Metro (15min; ~£3/person): From St Pancras Train Station, take Piccadilly metro line to Leicester Square station; walk 0.3km.

-TAXI: Use AirportFare, Addison Lee or Uber (search online; may be up to £60-80).

TRAINS:

It is a 15-20 minute walk to 2 train stations (also by metro/tube from apartment):

-From Waterloo Station: take Northern Line to Leicester Square station.

-From Kings Cross Station and St Pancras Station (for Eurostar services to mainland Europe): I recommend a taxi ~£12 since it is close (only 25 minutes walking). Or, Take Piccadilly line to Leicester Square Station.

-From Euston Train Station: I recommend a taxi ~£12 since it is close (only 25 minutes walking). Or, take Northern Line to Leicester Square Station.

If you need luggage storage (for the day), in central London, "Excess Baggage Company" provide storage at EVERY MAJOR London train station, including:

1) Kings Cross/St. Pancras Station (on the same metro line to Heathrow Airport);

2) Victoria Station (on the train line to Gatwick Airport);

3) Liverpool Street Station (on the train line to Stanstead Airport)

4) Charing Cross Station (this is the closest to the apartment).

Highly recommended if you want more space than a typical hotel room

Great location! The unit had everything we needed. We traveled with our teenaged daughter and needed a bit more space than a typical hotel had to offer. The unit was clean and the beds very comfortable. We would stay again.

Spacious flat at excellent location

The flat has two bedrooms, a large living room and a decent kitchen. Everything necessary is there. Even though some of the installations are a bit worn, all is functional and was in perfect working condition during our stay.

The best feature of the flat is its excellent location, just at Seven Dials, with one of the bedrooms facing a quiet private court, the other bedroom facing a side road. (We heard some noise from the bars below, but less than expected and only for short periods). Any type of ethnic food can be found in walking distance, as well as British Museum / the London Eye / Buckingham Palace, and, obviously, bustling Covent Garden.

Super flat convenient to everything

Perfect location. Great hosts. Nice flat. Loved it. Easy to walk to major attractions. Walking distance to several tube stops. Surrounded by restaurants, shopping, theater, coffee shops etc.

Home away from home...

We've stayed here several times now and each time it has been wonderful. The location truly can't be beat... the flat itself is very well put together and cozy, and Ben and his team couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. Our trips to London just wouldn't be the same if we didn't stay here.

Fantastic location, easy checkin, & great communication

This is a great home base from which to explore London. We loved it. There were 3 of us and we had plenty of room. The owners home packet was really useful. We would definitely stay again. The only thing I would add is that the bathroom lighting is very dim. It made getting ready a little challenging. I suggest brighter bulbs. Other than that, we found the home and our host to be wonderful!
