Michael and Stephanie Cowen started constructing this well crafted home in fall of 2014 and finished in spring of 2015. We are excited to share what we love about Williams Arizona and all that it has to offer from the majestic sunsets to the endless possibilities of outdoor activities and adventures including; fishing, golfing, hiking, wildlife watching, skiing, Historic Route 66, the Grand Canyon and Bearizona to mention just a few. Michael has lived and owned several business in Williams for over 30 years and Stephanie is a native to Arizona and has lived in Northern Arizona for over 25 years. We both have extensive knowledge of the area and all that it has to offer. We hope you enjoy your stay in Williams.
We have visited this home in Williams, Az twice-- once in the summer and once in the winter. We will definitely return this summer as well- The house is exactly as pictured, the home is immaculate, close to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and literally minutes from Downtown Williams. Stephanie and Mike welcomed us both times we visited the home and during our winter visit they steered us to a fun sledding hill.
Everything about our stay could not have been more perfect! The views from this home are stunning with and without snow. We saw amazing wildlife and wondered at the beauty of nature every time we looked out the window. The Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam were both easy day trips. They are wonders not to be missed!! The kitchen was well appointed. We baked and grilled with ease. The grocery store in Williams was a quick drive and had everything we needed. The sports fans also enjoyed football and access to their favorite teams with NFL Sunday Ticket. That was a nice surprise. There was plenty of room for games and puzzles too. We had an amazing time in a stunning setting. Thank you, Stephanie and Mike! It was like home away, but better!
Our family of 6 had an amazing time at this home. Mike and Stephanie were perfect hosts, with everything we could have needed taken care of. Beautiful views and a great location. Highly recommended!
This was a family trip for 8 people. We wanted to visit the Grand Canyon, but did not want to stay in the park. Williams is a charming town with great little shops and restaurants. The home is beautiful, and extremely comfortable. We saw eagles, deer and even elk! I cannot say enough about Stephanie and Mike. They showed us everything, made recommendations when needed and then gave us our privacy. A perfect balance.
Mike and Stephanie are kind, helpful, compassionate, understanding and loving. They helped us with more than we could ever have imagined. Thank you so much Mike and Stephanie!!! The home is immaculate and has everything you need and then some. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spread out so you have your privacy and their is plenty of space to play games, watch a movie, enjoy a meal together, sit out on the back deck and soak up some sun! At dusk and dawn we all got to enjoy the deer with their families coming through to eat and play. The eagle atop the dead tree across the lake to your left is quite a site. Watch him soar! When I met Mike he was so eager to help with the best things to do in the area. He suggested Bearizona Zoo. Part of it is a drive through and the other is a nice walk. Different animals and a lot of them everywhere. It is a must! The Deer Farm was very special. I love deer and we fed the deer, walked with the deer and got to meet many other animals that wanted to say hello and visit. Another must! Grand Canyon is a one hour drive. The 2 1/2 hour mule ride on the rim of the canyon is breathtaking. You learn history of the canyon, take many pictures and get to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine looking at the canyons south rim the whole time. Another must! Sedona is a beautiful area and about a 1 hour drive. We decided to take a 1.8 mile hike to the top of Devil's Bridge. Not only can you see the Red mountains of Sedona but you also get to experience this bridge which is high in elevation but also their is nothing under the bridge. Yes, you can walk across it and take many breath taking pictures. It's worth the hike and the 1.8 miles down. Another must! Route 66 right in Williams is a cool place to visit with shops and restaurants. Makes you feel like you are walking through a part of history. Another must! No matter what you decide to do you will love the weather and the scenery of Arizona! Thank you again!!!
We stayed at this house for a surprise 70th birthday celebration. The house was nicely furnished and it accommodated all of our needs. The location was great because it allowed us to travel to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon for one day and spend the other day in Sedona. Thank you!
