The sandy beach is 500m and there are plenty of walks and bicycle rides directly from the cottage.
Ballyconeely with pub, post office and shop is 4 miles and Clifden town is 8 miles, with supermarkets, busy pubs, restaurants. Within an hours drive, visit Kylemore Abbey, the Killary and the Connemara National Park or take a boat trip to Inishbofin. Ballyconeely golf course is 5 minutes drive, horse riding is closeby and bicycle hire is available in Clifden.
