Re-furbished with seaside style interior and cottage style bedrooms there is also an attractive courtyard garden with table and chairs for dining outside which gets the sun for the day. The cottage has wifi and is available for weekend, week-long lets or monthly bookings.
There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor – one good sized twin and one good double which suits a party of 2-4 and is reasonably priced for parties of this size

The garden area has just been refreshed and includes outside seating, flagstone and beach shingle.
The harbour area 3 minutes away offers sailing, windsurfing and of course swimming from the beach. There is also a local public swimming pool. Cycling is popular along the coast and don't forget to explore the famous Whitstable alleys such as 'Squeeze Gut'! The area has numerous restaurants, cafes and bars specialising in seafood and the famous Whitstable Oysters (Wheelers, The Crab & Winkle and The Oyster Fisheries) there is even a Michelin starred restaurant at Seasalter a walk away (next village along the coast). Of course there are many places for fish and chips, or crab and lobster.
For eating at home there are a variety of large food stores, individual bakers, a specialist cheese shop, grocer and butcher, fresh fish from the harbour markets and some excellent delis. You will be spoilt for choice.
Lovely general shops are dotted around Harbour St. perfect for an afternoon pottering and of course Canterbury and other lovely Kentish places are within a short drive. Other places to visit include Broadstairs, Margate (Turner Gallery and historic Dreamland) Deal, Walmer, Ramsgate and country villages too numerous to mention.
