Why Cristina Casadei chose Brisighella
There are plenty of reasons to choose Ospedaletto 57 besides the charme, the beauty and the quieteness of the property. You will also be enchanted by this extremely lively and genuine region, celebrated for its hospitality, its traditions and the unique variety of food, strategically located near magnificent art heritage cities and the Riviera.
What makes this House unique
Guests will share with the owner all premises and gardens, including the pool with Jacuzzi area in the summer, and an area on the side of the guesthouse will be of guests exclusive use. The old rural house is currently available only to the homeowners. In the lush garden, flowers, ornamental plants and herbs are paramount. The swimming pool area is equipped with outdoor seatings and sun beds, outdoor shower, umbrella and pergola. All around, the woods, the olive grove, the vegetable garden and the river embellish the 12 hectares estate, to be explored by walking. The property evolved from a conventional farm into a huge edible organic garden to explore and taste in all seasons, with dozens varieties of fruits, an exuberant kitchen garden, an olive grove, the woods rich in wild berries.

Nice and quiet place to be
We stayed in the house for 5 days and it was really beautiful. A nice and quiet place to be. The house was clean, has a lot of space and everything was there. We loved the swimmingpool. Very friendly people!!
Lovely house, nicely decorated in a lofty, contemporary style. The house shows that Italians and design go hand in hand. Since it is a loft, it is one big unit (except for the bathroom), so if you are 4, you're sleeping in the same 'room'. The house is amazing, but more amazing is the garden, or rather park. Almost 2 hectares, with lots of trees, flowers and a very nice vegetable garden, where the guests can collect whatever they like. And of course the huge swimming pool, enjoyed by all of us, but most of all by our children of 10 and 12.
When we were there, there was no one in the main house, so we had it all for us.
Maybe one minor point (but it was not really for us): the kitchen equipment is rather limited: there is no oven or dishwasher.
Großzügig ausgestattet, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, freundlicher Kontakt.
Wir bekamen das, was wir gebucht hatten und haben uns wohl gefühlt.
Es war ein super erholsamer Urlaub.
Vielen Dank !!!
Dear Kerrin and Wolfgang,
danke! it was a pleasure to meet and host you. I hope to see you again and, if you will come to visit us again, I promise soft pillow for the garden chairs!
Thank you for the wonderful pictures. We will enjoy other shots if you want :-)

We had a good time at Ospedaletto.
It´s a very nice, modern and clean Loft and we liked to discover the pictures and the interesting books in the house.
The owners are very friendly and helpful!
Ospedaletto is surroundet by a wonderful garden. We were allowed to pick up fruits and vegetables. Delicious! The swimmingpool is big and warm and includes an area with massage jets.
We discovered the charming villages in the surrounding area and enjoyed the italian lifestyle.
Near by the village Faenza we visited the „Kunst Garten“ which we recommend if you are interested in art.
At Ospedaletto we get new ideas and power for our work at home and hope to come back soon for another holiday!
Dear friends, thank you very much for your supernice review. My family and me really hope to see you again in Romagna, to discover other treasures and special places. We prepare a list for you! Ciao!
The property is surrounded by the gentle hills of Romagna just a few kilometers from Faenza, a city with a population of about 60,000 with a glorious political and cultural past that thrived thanks to the legacy of the local Manfredi family with the Medici in Florence. Founded by the Romans, Faenza reached its peak splendor in the Renaissance period with the booming of the ceramic art, a strong tradition still recognizable today in the number of artisanal ceramic shops and in the two Museums dedicated to this fine art - the International Museum of Ceramics (MIC) and the Carlo Zauli Museum. The first is the biggest museum on ceramic in the world, with an extensive collection ranging from rare ancient ceramic manufacts to art pieces by Picasso. The second one was created in the original workshop of the famous sculptor Carlo Zauli. Apart from celebrating his artistic career, the museum is extremely active internationally in contemporary art and hosts one of the most important Fab Labs in the region.
Many historical buildings and monuments are still there to testify the much splendid past of Faenza, like Palazzo Ferniani and Palazzo Milzetti. The city is very lively in all seasons, with a calendar of creative and innovative events that has no match in the region, if not in the country. To name a few, Cena Itinerante, Cinema Divino, MEI, Argillà, plus the countless cultural and entertainment activities of museums, theatres, public venues.
The city is also still strongly bonded to its traditions and ancient rituals, like the evocative Nott de Bisò in January and the spectacular and exciting Palio del Niballo at the end of June, which many weeks ahead engages the population in events, duels and contests rooting back to the Middle-age.
Faenza is in a most privileged position, centrally located in a territory that at a less-than-two-hours drive boasts Ravenna, Bologna, Ferrara, Firenze, Venezia, Rimini.
Not to mention the innumerable villages on the hills. Just a few driving minutes away, Brisighella, one of Italy’s most beautiful “borgo”, and Modigliana, an historic town of the tuscan Romagna once belonging to the Florence province, are definetely worth the visit even if only for aperitivo or dinner.
The house is located at a 15 minutes drive from the Central Railway Station of Faenza, with frequent connections to Bologna and Rimini - and their international airports - and more rail lines to Ravenna and Florence. Faenza is on the Adriatic A14 highway route, really close to the famous Riviera and in a very central location to travel throughout Italy.
