Lovely cottage, lovely place.

  • 5 of 5

Hard to believe that such a pretty little place could be so near the A43. The village is like a postcard and the cottage beautiful and perfectly located for the shop, village green and pub. There are lots of nice walks from the front door so your dog will be happy too. We loved it.

Gorgeous, Charming and Cosy Cottage! Home from Home

  • 5 of 5

We have had such a lovely new years break at the cottage on the green.

It is a proper home from home. It's so cosy and has all you need. There was tea. coffee, biscuits, bread, jam, butter and a bottle of fizz for us to welcome in the new year! It really was so welcoming.

The pub across the green is a real gem with really good pub food and a great selection of ales. We were only here for 3 days and had 2 three course meals whilst staying!

Great walk to Brackley across the fields next to the old hall.

We want to book in for our next stay already :)

Lovely cottage in a very nice place

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was beautifully clean and well-equipped. It is in a very traditional English village in lovely countryside. We particularly liked being able to look out on the village green from our bed first thing in the morning.

Lovely little cottage in fantastic location.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cottage in a very picturesque village. The cottage looks out onto the large village green which is often used for local cricket matches. Evenley village is simply beautiful and full of charm and character. Village shop is just 2 doors down from cottage and the lovely Red Lion pub is just across the green.

Pub meals are great and kids are welcome. Fab outside area with a little park.

The cottage is really charming with log burner, oak beams and traditional cottage doors. The owner, Cath is lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.

Thoughtful touches such as toiletries in the shower room and essential groceries there for us in the kitchen.

Evenley is so well placed for exploring Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cotswolds and only an hour or so from London.

Bicester designer outlet village is nearby as well as beautiful Oxford City. We had a great time at the outdoor pool in Oxford when the sun shone!

Would definitely book again if coming to the area.
