Moved to Arizona when I was 13 from Minnesota. Lived in East Mesa, North Scottsdale and Fountain Hills. My husband and I purchased our cabin in Pine, AZ in 2009. A year later my parents purchased a cabin a few doors away. After years of visiting on weekends we decided that Pine is the most beautiful place in Arizona and decided to move permanently to Pine in 2013. We lived in our 3br 2 ba cabin for 1 1/2 years and recently purchased a larger home in Pine. As we are now a family of 7 the cabin was too small for us!!! Since we love our cabin so and do not want to sell it we decided to share our beautiful slice of heaven with others. We want everyone to experience the beauty of Pine/Strawberry and Rim Country.
Laurel Hartman purchased this cabin in 2009
We truly love this cabin - it is not just a rental to us. It was our first cabin, then our permanent residence for over a year. We completely remodeled in the home in 2012 with new cabinets, floor, counters, and new tub & shower. We have so many wonderful memories in this cabin we would like to let others make their own family memories as well!
No stairs - single level. 3 bedrooms is a rare find in Pine. Backyard is so private and so many beautiful trees and Deer, Elk & other wildlife eat the grass in the backyard - which you can see from kitchen, Master bedroom & bath windows. Large area for parking and flat so yard is useable. Places to park ATV, Dirt Bikes, Side by Side in backyard or in the long driveway.
My grandchildren are now in college or work and I miss our time together. I booked the property through two weekends so everyone could join me in Pine when they could arrange time off. The property met all of my expectations. We could all sit around the inland for meals and good conversation. We had eight days of hiking, enjoying the wildlife, elk, deer and javelina that meandered though the neighborhood and playing games in front of the fireplace at night. My favorite was sitting on the porch early in the morning and hearing nothing but the wind in the pines. Everyone agreed the family get together was a great success. We will definitely book the property again. My daughter has already recommended the property to several friends.
We had a great time and the place was perfect, we highly recommend it and we will stay there again.
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was clean, it felt cozy, and was everything we wanted. The location is great. We saw deer in the mornings and other wildlife. We will definitely be renting again, hopefully for a longer period than just 2 days. Laurel was easy to communicate with and willing to fix any problems that came up.
The property was very clean, well maintained, roomy and comfortable. It was as it was described in listing description. The unit was fully stocked with everything we needed except for food and our personal items. There was a large island in the kitchen with two benches, which was very useful! Up to 7 of us stayed comfortably at the cabin. There was plenty of parking next to the cabin and in front. We parked one truck and 3 cars. Laurel was very responsive, provided great customer service. The process to refund our deposit was started on the day we checked out. The cabin was located in a beautiful setting. The grocery store just down the street came in handy. I would return to this cabin should the need arise and I would highly recommend to my family and friends! Thank you!
Very nice property!! Highly recommend
Found Laurel's Cabin to everything as stated and more. This was (is ) the most well stocked cabin we have been in. Cooking wise there was everything we needed, which was a first. Plenty of beds, pillows, and blankets. Found it to be roomie, relaxing, comfortable, clean. We felt like we were home. Are line of sight was perfect. We saw either elk or deer every day, 3 or 4 times a day. They were walking across the street, enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner in the backyard.
Laurel we can not thank you enough, this was just what we needed. I know we will definitely be back.
