Hyfield Lodge is quality and cosy holiday accommodation found in the picturesque Norfolk village of Swannington. Views across open fields and rolling countryside can be enjoyed from the large, triangular shaped first floor windows. Local wildlife abounds, including pheasants, deer, owls and many different birds. The accommodation is spread over two floors. A large kitchen include brand new Neff appliances; fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, dish-washer and washing machine. French doors open onto a sunny south-facing decked patio offering outside loungers, table and chairs and barbeque. Stairs up to the first floor will invite you into a warm, comfortable lounge where you can observe beautiful sunsets. A five foot bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and duvet will invite you for a good nights sleep. The bathroom hosts a bath for two, separate shower cubicle, toilet and a vanity wash basin with waterfall taps. Please large triangular window is un-curtained to protect it's beauty so eye masks are provided if required.
Centrally located for exploring some of Norfolk's finest attractions, guests at Hyfield Lodge can enjoy some excellent golf at Wensum Valley and Weston Park, with several other local courses available. There are plenty of walking and cycling paths, such as the Marriott's Way, the Bure Valley and Weavers Way. The Norfolk Broads are within easy reach, where you can enjoy a river cruise or hire a boat by the day. The North Norfolk coastline is a mere 30 minute drive away, with its wide sandy beaches and dunes. There are a great many delightful villages to explore along the coast including Blakeney, Cley, Brancaster and Morston Quay, where a boat trip to visit the seals is always a favourite. The cathedral city of Norwich is a short drive away. Cultural attractions include Norwich Castle and museum, Elm Hill and Norwich Cathedral. Shoppers are also well catered for with big department stores, independent retailers and Norwich's extensive covered market place. Norfolk also boasts some very fine National Trust properties to visit including Blickling Hall, Felbrigg and Sandringham.
