The wide beach of Rada is a 5 minutes walk. The historic city center, Typically Andalusian, is a 10 minutes walk, you will find shops and Many Many bar / tapas restaurants.
The apartment has wireless internet and a TV.
The town of Estepona, ict with beaches, entertainment, golf courses is busy all year round.

Lovely apartment overlooking marina
The apartment was excellent, including its location and size. Estepona is a very attractive place to stay.
We were allocated a parking space in a nearby underground car park and given an access key by the local agent for the apartment, Antonia, which was appreciated.
Unfortunately, at the time of our departure from the apartment, when we collected the car from the Car park we found it had suffered intentional damage and a note had been left to say that we had no right to park in that space (which was the space allocated by Antonia). We informed Antonia and the owner but their response was unhelpful. And we were unable to pursue the issue locally as we had a plane to catch.
Lovely comfortable very spacious apartment
Location was fantastic. So close to many restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the beach and town. The apartment was so big and comfortable with a very large balcony. Everything you need was there. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, good showers. Two very comfortable settees. Air con was much needed even at this time of the year. Very secure and private in gated community. Visited with our daughter and grandson who is only three and he loved watching the boats coming and going from the harbour from the balcony.
Would highly recommend this apartment.
A great place A great Apartment
a lovely Apartment with good views over the marina plenty of restaurants & bars, easy walk into Estepona, the apartment has two large bedrooms, both with bathrooms and plenty of wardrobes good fitted Kitchen and large lounge all bedrooms and lounge over look the marina and you can access the very large balcony from either the master bedroom or lounge, I under stand that the owner is going to upgrade the bathrooms later this year and that should make it a five star plus property, it also has air conditioning in all the main rooms, at night time with the windows closed it is very quiet, and has good Kingsize beds would I stay there again YES

Well appointed apartment in good location
This is a large well furnished apartment, in a secure gated complex, overlooking the harbour.
Probably one of the best locations in the harbour area.
There is a large terrace, with ample furniture, and which gets the sun from early morning to around 4pm (in June). The terrace can get a little noisy, from the bars across the road, but we didn't notice this indoors. In fact the two bedrooms both have two separate layers of glass windows, which completely shut out any noise.
All windows and doors to the terrace have lockable metal grills, plus shutters, and there are two electrically operated blinds for shade when needed.
There is simple to use, and very efficient air-conditioning in all rooms, which was very welcome, particularly at night.
There is a brand new flat screen TV with "European channels", though most of them appear to be German language, but his wasn't an issue for us.
The apartment is in generally good condition for it's age and rental cost.
The kitchen is par for the course for a Spanish apartment, and we found it to be very well equiped.
There were only two unfortunate downsides to the apartment and complex. After the first few days we started finding cockroaches both on the terrace and inside. It seemed to be an issue they knew about, as there were traps in the bathrooms, plus more un-used ones in a cupboard. It didn't particularly bother me, but my wife wasn't impressed.
The other issue is the resident cats. I don't know if they belong to anyone, but I suspect they are strays. Again, not an issue for me, until I trod in cat poo by one of the swimming pools, in bare feet, not a pleasant experience.
In fairness both of these issues are somewhat beyond the owners control.
Communication with the owner was a bit hit and miss at times, but his agent Rose Marie was very helpful, and we able to keep in touch with her, as needed, via Whats App.
Overall I would say this is a very pleasant holiday apartment, the two above issues aside.
We (an English couple in our 60s) spent 3 weeks here from mid December 2016. First, the good points: Spacious rooms, nice views of the marina, effective heating via the air-con, good wi-fi speed, good mattresses, good provision of storage in the bathrooms, easy access to restaurants, shops and bus stops.
Unfortunately, the negatives outweighed the positives. The email/phone communication with owner and agent before we travelled was sometimes slow or unresponsive. On site, Antonia, the agent, was friendly and tried to be helpful. We did get our deposit back, but it took over 2 weeks to reach my account.
Overall, the apartment was a bit tired-looking and not very well maintained (dead batteries, light bulbs). Some of the electrical bathroom fittings would be considered dangerous in Britain. The TV could only receive French (not even Spanish) channels, so we had to watch TV on our small laptop. There was no DVD player, nor any books or local information. The kitchen was well-equipped, but the cutlery was tinny. A lamp above the large dining table would be an improvement.
There were cooking and drainage smells distributed through ventilation shafts in both bathrooms and we heard frequent noises from toilets flushing, washing machines, etc. from other flats within the building, especially at night. We came across a few cockroaches; not that unusual in Spain.
There is a nightclub in the parade of shops below the apartment that starts up at midnight, and on some nights we could hear the bass thumping away until the early morning.
The balcony received virtually no direct sun, but was exposed to the wind. At times it felt much colder there than in the street below. The tiles inside the apartment felt very cold at this time of year; there are no rugs, so we bought warm slippers.
Would I recommend this apartment? I have described what we found, so you have to decide for yourself. If we ever go back to Estepona, we would probably book another one.
The deadline for returning the deposit is the contractual deadline set by the Homelidays website and accepted by the customer at the time of reservation.This period is necessary to check the the apartment
- A light bulb is unpredictable: It's an impoderable ! The agent immediately reacted by replacing this ampoule
- Access to the foreign channels is done for the moment via the free wifi available in the apartment.This is specified in the description.
The telephone operator is one of the biggest European operators and the speed of the wifi is fast enough except that the reception apparatus is obsolete.
However we will install in spring a new television with many foreign channels
- The lighting of the living-room-kitchen is provided by 1 bright point in the entrance hall, 2 in the kitchen (open on the living room), 4 bedside lamps in the living room, 1 ceiling lamp Above the sofas and 1 wall lamp at the living room table. What more, if not change the decor of our apartment !!
NB: The apartment is entirely painted white and is therefore very bright, including winter.
- The noises inside the residence: The apartment is one of the least noisy because it has no neighbor above, unlike all the others.
Now the Puerto Paraison residence includes several dozen homes like all other neighboring residences and yes, it's true, we are never alone to live there !.This remark is very surprising.
- The noises from the outside: contrary to the assertion, the bars are not located at the bottom of the residence but on the marina and therefore much lower.
It's not a mystery that Spain lives at night !! That's why people come here on vacation.
That sometimes the sound of music is heard, yes of course, it is indeed what thousands of holiday makers (including English, Dutch, Irish, Scottish ..) rent in Puerto Paraiso every year: all the residence in 1st Sea line overlook the marina.
You can not have the proximity of the shops, the sea view, entertainment and the absolute calm 24:00 on 24:00 especially in Spain.
Note also that the apartment is equipped with double windows even equipped with double glazing and shutters.
- The cold: You probably did not listen to the instructions of our agent who systematically explains to the tenants that the air conditioning allows to heat the whole apartment.
- The residence includes a large majority of British citizens owners who spend their holidays or rent their property. If the place was so unpleasant they would not be there.
The apartment is between av Carmen and av Luis Braille.
From Av del Carmen, down to the harbor and take the first road on the right to enter the residence entrance gate "Puerto Paraiso".

Take the stairs to the small esplanade facing the harbor And Then descend to reach the front door. The apartment in # 6, the second on your right. Our Spanish agent will accompany you.
The private parking is Located in the underground parking of a site location is the corner of Avenida del puerto and Luis Braille Avenue. It is on the left side, the number 183.
Since the Avenida del Carmen, down to the port and take the first road on the right to enter the residence entrance gate "Puerto Paraiso".
Search block 7.
Take the stairs to the small esplanade facing the harbor and then descend to reach the front door. The apartment is the No. 6, the second on the right.
The private parking is located in the basement of a garage located at the corner of Avenue del puerto and Luis Braille Avenue. It is on the left and is No. 183.
