Great location but work is needed all around.
This property is wonderfully located. However, checking in was a hassle. The 3rd party missed several phone calls and we waited outside for almost 40 minutes.
Now the real issues ... There was leftover food in the fridge, stuff (broken chairs and old produce) on the back balcony but the worst was the frayed/exposed wire that connected to our AC unit. This was behind a bed and could have been a HUGE fire hazzard. The kitchen caninet was broken under the sink (discovered when looking for a dish drying rack). The bathroom had 2 blowdryers, one which worked and the other just turned red and never started. It seemed like someone was living there before we arrived. Contact solution was in the kitchen with the salt/pepper and clothes in a cabinet. It was all very odd.
This property has so much potential but needs an overhaul immediately. For what we paid, I expected better.
Bathroom could be updated and one roller shade was bent away from wall so did not dare to use. Other than those two things, it was adequate.
Enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was perfect as it was a calm area but very close to the metro station. The host was very friendly!
We had a great family vacation in Rome staying here!
We are a family of 5, two parents and three young adults/teens (ages 22, 18 and 15) and we were very comfortable and felt at home in this apartment. There was enough room for everyone to have their own bed, and the location was great for us. We were two blocks from the metro station and bus stop, a couple of blocks from pharmacy, grocery store, restaurants. We walked to the Colosseum (about 20-ish minutes walk) and St. John Laterna Basilica (10 minutes walk) and took public transportation everywhere except to the airport/train stations because when we had luggage,we didn't want to hassle with the subway. It was not that expensive for a taxi just to arrive and depart, compared to the convenience. We felt safe and comfortable in this quaint building. Thank you for a great stay!
Comfortable central location
Spacious, clean, and comfortable apartment in a central location. We did not have wifi and the kitchen is very minimally equipped but this did not matter to us because we spent most of our time out sightseeing. The caretakers were very responsive and friendly. It worked well for us!
A comfortable apartment within easy reach of the centre of Rome.
The apartment is conveniently situated very close to the San Giovanni stop on the Rome metro and it is also possible to walk to some of Rome's attractions (about half an hour to the Colosseum). There is a lift in the building which is helpful as the apartment is on the third floor. There are three bedrooms – one double, one twin and one single, all very well equipped. There is a stylish bathroom with laundry area and washing machine adjacent. The décor of the apartment is an interesting mixture of the traditional and modern with an eclectic collection of crockery etc. in the kitchen. There are sunny balconies off the kitchen and the living area. There are lovely cool floors and the layout of the flat enables you to open windows on the opposite sides of the building for a cooling breeze. There were about to be air conditioning units installed when we were there but it wasn't quite hot enough to use them for our stay. We very much enjoyed our time in Rome.
Easylife is situated in an ideal central location for a tourist stay as it is possible to quickly reach the main sites and monuments of historical and religious interest and is well served by public transport.
It is in fact possible to easily reach on foot (2 minutes) from the metro station to St John.
From Metro you can reach Termini Station, Spanish Steps, St. Peter and the Vatican Museums; by bus (on foot), the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, etc. Walk to the Basilica of St. John Lateran.
In the same street you will also find supermarkets, bars, restaurants, ice cream shops, pizzerias, a bakery, a pharmacy and a hair salon, all in the immediate vicinity.
