Dating back to the 1800s, Millstone Cottage has been lovingly renovated to maintain many of its original features and much of its charm. In a quiet no through lane yet just a few minutes from all the attractions that Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area has to offer, the location is perfect for those wishing to have fun filled days but somewhere quiet to relax in, while planning the next day’s adventures. Animal lovers of all kinds are very well catered for from watching the wildlife on the nearby broads to visiting Thrigby Hall Wildlife Park, with its popular tree top tiger walk. While in the broads you can hire a day launch or join a guided boat trip and while away the day amongst the wildlife in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. All of which is the perfect, relaxing contrast to all the fun of the fair, which can be found in Great Yarmouth or at nearby theme park Pleasurewood Hills. Beach lovers will be spoilt for choice too with beaches from Great Yarmouth’s famous ’Golden Mile’ to Horsey Beach where, at certain times of the year, locals flock to see the seals and their cubs. A short drive away, you will also find the medieval city of Norwich with its imposing Norman castle, numerous museums, attractions and great places to shop and eat. With great walks and cycle routes, along with numerous bird watching opportunities too, you will soon see why this part of the Norfolk Coast has remained so popular. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Stayed here for a short break in June 2015. Cosy cottage from top to bottom, tastefully decorated throughout. Perfect for dog owners with walks pretty much straight from front door and enclosed courtyard to keep our hound safe! We walked to the coast and into Great Yarmouth. Very enjoyable and comfortable stay! Recommended!!!
