Rhonda is the organizer for our venture and I am her assistant. We are very involved in promoting and advocating for bicycling both for recreation and transportation. I wear a number of different hats as an educator, writer, realtor, and work with people from all different walks of life.
harry greenberg purchased this apartment in 1995
Great place for families and anyone wanting to be in the center of it all- lakes, entertainment, convention center and Uptown restaurants and shopping.
We have a garage full of bikes that we loan out for free! Trail is 3 blocks away and lets you bike on a bike path without traffic.
Two friends and I recently stayed at this property and it was perfect! We were in town for the Ryder Cup and we were looking for a place to relax with some more space than a hotel. The area was very cool, with lots of fun restaurants to choose from. We were able to walk everywhere. The property itself gave us plenty of room to spread out and had a great feel of home. We had a chance to meet Harry for a few minutes while departing and he was extremely nice and accommodating. My friends and I would highly recommend this location if you are planning on visiting the greater Minneapolis area!
The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed. Harry was helpful. He outfitted my husband and me with bikes for the week, gave us good directions for getting around the city and handed out some restaurant tips. The house was close to the wonderful art museum, restaurants, grocery and within a charming neighborhood. We spent the week enjoying the city with our daughter who recently moved to Minneapolis. We will definitely rent the house again when visiting her and tell other family member that they should stay there, too!
We had a wonderful visit to Uptown Minneapolis. The house was perfect for us. Comfortable beds and lots of windows letting in the light. Walking distance to restaurants and dinning. We hope to stay there again very soon!
Great Place and great location for our stay. Walking distance to MIA and MCAD as well as Eat Street.
This is a charming old house with beautiful wood work. Clean and tidy, with a well stocked kitchen very comfortable beds.
We will stay there again.
The residence smelled like a high school locker room. The futon seemed to hold body odor from years of sweaty people. My clothes smelled after sitting on it. The small table in the front room was not clean; wiped it down and cloth was dirty. Also, there was a sticky residue that would not come off. The microwave had not been cleaned. Rugs need changing or serious cleaning. The yard needs clearing - toilet bowl in side yard, back yard was littered with stuff that needed to be repurposed or disposed of. The bath mat was either unclean or needs replacing. Furnishing appears to be yard sale quality. No bedside lamp worthy of reading light. On the plus side, it is spacious. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. The location is nice - convenient to downtown while maintaining a neighborhood feel. Grocery store, coffee shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. I'm usually hesitant to write reviews; I don't wish to negatively impact the owner. I did take a few pictures of the property because it was unkempt. I'm writing because I received several request to review this property. I would not recommend it.
Perfect location for our stay. Comfortable, clean, had everything we needed. Looked forward to getting back there each night.
Walker Art Institute, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Convention Center all within walking distance
