About Susie Jeffery
We were builders in Glenwood Springs Colorado for years and moved to Canon City to be near our children and grandchildren. We raised Missouri Fox Trotting horses for 15 years and this area was perfect for that.
Susie Jeffery purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Susie Jeffery chose Lincoln Park
Canon City has much to offer year round with the warm winters. You can do most outdoor activities at any time. Great hiking, rock climbing, walking on the beautiful River Walk or skiing at Breckenridge Ski area two hours away.
What makes this Cabin unique
If you want a cozy cabin feel without the "'hotel" price this may be for you. Bring you dog (no charge) and as we live next door we can walk it while you are gone or it may come in the yard with our two Golden Retrievers.

Amazing, quiet little cabin with great views.
This place was awesome! My husband and I took a very much needed vacation. We had an adventure everyday and went everywhere within an hour and a half. The scenery is amazing. The cabin was great, had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Definitely recommend staying at this beautiful little cabin to anyone thinking about Canon City. We would come back again!
It was wonderful having you stay with us and so appreciate you sharing your experience online!
My husband and I celebrated our 35th anniversary here. It was like living in a post card for a week. The mountains. The horses. The owners were just wonderful. Susie and Robin were a pleasure. I feel like we are friends! Ross was wonderful as well. It was interesting to learn that he built (or designed) the 4 Mile Ranch Golf Course--we played there twice and it was awesome. Extremely interesting holes-including a blind par 3-my husband almost got a hole in one!! We are golfers! I loved coming home to visit with all their horses-their neighbor had a 4 week old Palomino--"Cowboy" He and his mama were so fun to pet and offer carrots too. Cabin is small but adorable-the A/C worked very well (it was 106 most of the time!) I highly recommend staying here. Cheers Julie
LOVE LOVE LOVED IT
My boyfriend and I were on our way to Monte Vista from North Dakota & were scrolling through all the HomeAway listings and came across this one. She was so helpful with letting us know there were no dirt roads and everything was easily accessible. When we arrived the cabin so SOOOO adorable and clean and had all the amenities available.
This is a great cabin!
The setting was idyllic. From the amazing view to the little baby colt it was magical. Canon City was a beautiful little town and the cabin was all we could ask for. There was even a Robin nest with babies in the front porch and the mother came to feed even with us sitting on the porch!
It was a delight to have such enthusiastic guests! So enjoyed having you as well and we get to see you some time again in the future! Thanks for your kinds words!
We totally loved it!
The cabin was adorable and the setting couldn't have been better. The access to all there was to do was perfect as well. Would stay again anytime!
Loved our quick stay while in town for a wedding. Watched the baby foal frolick and enjoyed coffee on the porch.
World class River Rafting, Fly Fishing and Rock Climbing! Skiing at Breckenridge 2 hours away.
