Blue begins at the front door of this spacious and traditional accommodation, which is part of a resort hotel. Ideal for families, it is set above the water's edge and enjoys panoramic views of the sea and charming town across the bay. Excellent location -with no obvious noise- it is an easy flat stroll along the seafront from the port within a distance of 800m. There is a shared pool in the premises.


The main entrance takes one in to the open-plan living area and kitchen-diner. There is a sofa bed with coffee table and armchair, while the dining table may seat up to 6 persons. The kitchenette –in an alcove– provides basic cooking facilities, large fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle and coffee machine. Two separate light and airy bedrooms (each with individually controlled A/C) boast direct sea views even from their interior. Master bedroom with double bed is spacious and fully furnished; it has window looking at the ocean, laptop friendly workspace with sea views, and can easily accommodate a third bed if required. Second bedroom has two identical single beds (which may join together) and patio doors to the front private balcony. All beds have comfortable mattresses and pillows, offering very good sleeping quality. The bathroom has shower cabin, basin and toilet, while hot water is instant.


Great to sit and watch the sun go down or have a drink on later in the evening, the big balcony offers a spectacular view of the town and the endless blue of the Aegean. It is furnished with wooden table, comfortable director's chairs, and two sun loungers with umbrella for your exclusive use.


There is a shared pool where you can soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip; regularly cleaned and not overcrowded, it is spotless and inviting. It is not huge but large enough to chill out and relax. While there is no pool-bar or music, the pool area is very quiet and peaceful, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols available for spending many lazy hours. Here you will have the opportunity to socialise with other holiday-makers as little or as much as you please. All grounds are kept tidy and the large gardens are beautifully maintained. Manicured lawns and colourful blooms surround the buildings, providing a tranquil environment for guests to relax and enjoy the warm Greek sunshine.

About Nikos

I was born in Skopelos and have been living here all my life. My earliest and most precious memories of this beloved island are of long days at the countryside, the fields and the woods.

I was raised into a large typical Greek family -the youngest of four children- and I work at the family's businesses in the fields of "Tourism & Hospitality", and "Groceries". In this point, I would like to confirm that I shall personally arrange your groceries to be delivered at your chosen accommodation free of charge.

We could see the sunrise directly from our bedroom. You could see the port. The area was really quiet. Nikos ensured we could get access despite being later than planned. The place had daily cleaning and the staff was really nice. They provided anything that we needed, iron, headache tablets...

Skopelos - with its sleepy hilltop villages, wonderful taverns and (generally) tranquil way of life - is a Greek island in the Sporades chain. It is known as "The Emerald Isle" due to its lush, green forests and wonderful aqua-blue seas and it certainly does not disappoint.


Skopelos town is utterly charming. It nestles around the port, with traditional white houses snaking up the surrounding hillsides. If you were to daydream what a little Greek town looks like, this would be it. It has an air of sophistication, with chichi bars and restaurants nestling alongside the everyday shops.


Skopelos has no airport, and that's a great charm; clear skies without trails and no aircraft noise.

Most visitors in summer will fly to nearby island of Skiathos, and then take the forty minute ferry connections to the port of Skopelos Town. The ferry ride adds to the pleasure of getting to this special place; it also means the hordes keep away.

Many prefer to arrange their own flights and connections via Skiathos, or Athens which has a summer bus link to Agios Konstantinos and year-round bus links to Mandouthi (Evia) and Volos, or via the airports at Volos or Thessaloniki. Car ferries run on all island and mainland routes throughout the year.
