About Cara Carr

Family owned house used for many happy family holidays in Burnham - Summer and Winter. Our children have enjoyed the summers sailing at the Royal Burnham Yacht Club and the RBYC Cadet week has been such fun for all the family and friends over the years. Lovely walks along the river all year round are always a favourite. Walking along the Quay to the Marina is a good walk. Lovely countryside walks are close-by too. Coffee and tea shops are close for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pubs and restaurants are plentiful and very good. Children playground with swings, slide and other activities are with waling distance. A small cinema is in Burnham. Good local food shops.

This house is in the heart of the Burnham town. No car is needed as it is possible to walk to all Burnham activities, quay, yacht Clubs and restaurants. Burnham On Crouch Train station is 10 minutes walking. 1 car parking space allocated to the house - otherwise street parking opposite house. Modern town house with modern living facilities. Residential quiet road with good neighbours. No hen or stag parties allowed.

Spotless, friendly and helpful owners, perfect position for the river and village, light and airy

Arrived on a sunny day to a sun drenched rear patio. House was more spacious than website images indicate. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was a bonus and made getting ready for the day easy and efficient. Kitchen well supplied with equipment although we only used it for breakfast. Comfortable living area that allowed us all to sit together. For six people a couple more armchairs or adult size bean bags would be an advantage. Having the postcode for Sat nav earlier would have been useful. Would highly recommend for a family gathering or group of friends looking for somewhere comfortable with lots of local amenities.

Simply The Best

I have stayed in this property 2 times now 2 years running and have booked again for next year. This is a wonderful family home that makes you feel as if you've come from home to home. Spacious, immaculately clean, great facilities. Great location walking distance from all amenities, pubs, restaurants, waterfront, etc. I would highly recommend this property. Lovely spacious, clean and well equipped home

We had a lovely stay in this property. On arrival the owner was welcoming, friendly, and even boiled the kettle for us! The rooms were spacious and clean and the house had everything you could want. The location was right next to the high street with a selection of fish and chip shops, one stop and pubs to enjoy. Overall a fantastic stay. Thank you!

Lovely, family home

Perfect family house with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Spacious, clean, comfortable, with small garden and close to shops, restaurants and quay.

I could not find the address or postcode on the Homeaway website which made programming the satnav rather hard.

The perfect weekend!

We stayed at the property for the weekend and our party consisted of my daughter, her two boys aged 4 and 2 and me.

Although It was a last minute booking, Cara went out of her way to accommodate our needs.

We were warmly welcomed to the property by her mother who explained everything to us in detail and was at the other end of the phone should we need her.

The property was beautifully maintained, very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for all our needs with plenty of space for the boys to run around.

It was very close to all the amenities and we enjoyed long walks along the quay and shopping along the high street.

We bought all our provisions from the local Co op ( much easier with two small children) and had lovely fish and chips from the local take away .

I would wholeheartedly recommend this property and I'm looking forward to returning there again in the future.

Thank you Cara for a lovely weekend in your beautiful house.
