Spanish property registration No. CTC201650278. This is a very large apartment in an excellent position. On the third floor of a 3 storey building, the penthouse sits above a beautiful small square with its own water fountain. A Private entrance leads to the penthouse. The Entrance hall opens on to the very large open plan lounges, (rear lounge with uk free view tv) leading on to internal dining area. Fully fitted and equipped kitchen; microwave, hob, oven/grill, washing machine, large fridge freezer etc, large master bedroom with dressing area, also a built in safe. 2nd bedroom with built in wardrobes, sea view. Large bathroom with shower/bath etc. Huge surrounding balcony with 180 degree sea view and good view of mountains to the rear. The apartment also has it's own private dining area, sunbeds and seating are also sited. In the evening, the terrace can be illuminated by the well positioned low level wall lights creating a very relaxing ambience. The complex does not have its own swimming pool, however, the sea is only 50 metres away!! The apartment is furnished to a very high standard.

Great location but needs attention, we were very disappointed 😔
After booking this apartment based on the photographs & the one review we read we were very disappointed with the apartment when we arrived.
I can appreciate that at one time this would have been a lovely home.
However it is now very tired & shabby in our opinion.
It is in desperate need of a good clean to be honest.
The kitchen utensils desperately need replaced, the kettle leaked as did the tap.
The worse thing we can across was the bathroom, there was a huge jacuzzi bath which we were dying to use! However, the jets were filthy and looked like they had never been cleaned or had treatment..quite frankly it looked like a health hazard!
Some of the electrical sockets came out of the wall when the plug was pulled out.
The main positive we found with the apartment were the great location & the huge sun terrace which was fantastic! However the sunbeds need replacing, one was broken and both the pads were worn & old.
This could be a fantastic holiday home but it is in dire need of a refurbishment or at best a complete deep clean.
We wont be returning.

As we were the occupants of the apartment immediately before your stay I'm afraid I can not accept the content of your derogatory report. To start with, as,whenever we use the flat, before leaving, we always give a good clean, this is then followed up by our cleaning team, as they always clean the apartment thoroughly before a rental stay. There was nothing wrong with the kettle and the tap was not dripping during our stay, had this been the case, the kettle would have been replaced and the tap repaired. We had no issues with electrical sockets and had we have done we would have had them repaired prior to us leaving. Neither of the sunbeds on the terrace were broken during our stay and the pads are not new but certainly not in the state that you have described, we replace these every year. None of the family used the jacuzzi facility of the bath but it is certainly not a health hazard as you described and, as with all areas, kept clean. The photographs on our advertisement accurately depict the apartment as it is and the the rental price you were charged just outside the high season was, in our opinion, very reasonable for an apartment of such magnitude, comfort and location. We feel that you have been grossly unfair with your comments. The most surprising thing is that we can not understand why you didn't contact our property management team during your stay with a view to having any or all of your issues addressed, replaced or repaired? You were given their contact details and advised to contact them with any issues what so ever at time of booking. Their contact details are also in several positions in the apartment including the information and advice folder. You also had the option of contacting me during your stay to raise your issues. An apartment of this size and in this location could achieve double the rental charges we advertise. However, the furnishings of such apartments are often much more luxurious. We believe our furnishings to be very comfortable and therefore not in need of replacement. The apartment has proved very popular since rented and we have several repeat customers.This year we have replaced virtually all of the windows with double glazing and renewed an air con unit.We are constantly updating and give a good service addressing any issues that may be brought to our attention as quickly as possible, not that we have had many. We are proud of our apartment.
In the past we have stayed in apartment complexes in the usual 2 bedroom apartments which have been comfortable but often a little lacking in space especially the outside balconies. This apartment is surprisingly large and very well furnished. The terrace is huge and we enjoyed most evenings of our holiday outside eating drinking and relaxing whilst taking in the incredible view. By far, the best accommodation we have rented, simply stunning, what a great find, already booked for next year. Thanks Irene for a great holiday in your beautiful apartment.
LOCAL INFORMATION WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU UPON YOUR ARRIVAL. Mojacar Playa is a unique and unspoilt resort with no high rised developments. 9 km of blue flag beaches caressing the Mediterranean sea. Spotted along the beach you will find the most delightful beach bars. Young or not so young, there is something for everyone here, families, couples and singles. The resort is overlooked to the rear by the Sierra Cabrerra mountains which forms a micro-climate. Average of 320 days of sunshine are enjoyed each year. Wonderful Summers, very mild Winters are 2 ingredients that make Mojacar so very special. Nestling above the Playa is the ancient Moorish town of Mojacar Pueblo, with it's whitewashed houses and winding cobbled streets hiding superb bars,restaurants and small unique shops. The town is steeped in history and the character of the whole resort is abundantly reflected by the locals most of which speak fluent English and will overwhelm you with their friendliness and hospitality.
