The Lagos Marina & Historical town center
The marina is a 2-minute walk away offering a variety of shops, cafés, restaurants and ATM’s. A brief stroll over the footbridge brings you to the center of the exciting historic town of Lagos with its cobbled pedestrian streets, its wonderful typical restaurants, shops and other local entertainment. There are a variety of boat trips, water sport activities, tours and other trips available that can be arranged and booked at the Marina.
The 4 mile golden sandy beach of Meia Praia is a 10-minute walk away and perfect for long beach walks and shell collecting. Other smaller well-known beaches at the other end of the marina and town.
Pingo Doce is a 10-minute walk down the road from the apartment for all your groceries and has a canteen type restaurant where takeaways are also available.

Inter-City Bus Terminal is a 15-minute walk across the Marina footbridge offering comfortable service throughout Portugal & Spain.
Tourist train – at the marina and travels up and down the main beaches up to the scenic Ponta da Piedade and back.

MEET AND GREET
Owners will meet all guests on arrival and give tips on how to make the most of their stay in Lagos. Thereafter they give guests space to enjoy their holiday but are only a call or text message away if they need any assistance or information.
POPULAR FOR LONG STAYS IN WINTER
From November to March. Utilities will be charged as used and paid for through the Homeaway platform. A weekly clean and change of sheets and towels included.
Occasionally there may be small gaps between bookings, I am happy to offer short 3 to 4 night breaks during these periods.
One of the most popular towns in the Algarve, Lagos is a top holiday destination and has it all! From history to culture, beaches and climate to a lively, easygoing and friendly atmosphere all year round. Steeped in history it was from here that Henry the navigator set sail on his discoveries along with many other Portuguese explorers.
A walk across the Marina footbridge will lead you into the heart of the old town where you will find a very quaint typical Portuguese town with narrow cobbled streets and many shops, bars and restaurants and entertainment. Here you can experience the raw authenticity of Portugal, the daily fish market, the local Tasca, the smell of grilled sardines and seafood toasting on the grill, tiled houses, the clear blue skies and the warm hospitable people.
There are many places of interest to visit such as museums, churches, historical monuments and a mini-zoo for the children. Activities are endless in and around Lagos and include boat trips, dolphin tours, fishing, surfing, diving, kayaking, golf and much more. Lagos is also very popular for hiking and walking trips. Two premium golf courses with minutes drive from the apartment.
The Algarve, situated on the extreme South of Portugal, offers gorgeous sandy beaches and glorious sunshine nearly all year-round. With around 300 days of sunshine a year and idyllic temperatures averaging 14ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer - and rarely going below 10ºC during winter and reaching as high as 28ºC or 30ºC in July and August.
