Modern-light-quiet and comfortable apartment T1 with private garage

The apartment is bright, comfortable and very quiet. It is fully equipped for four people and decorated in a functional way. All compartments are separated with total privacy of the bedroom with double bed. The bathroom with tub / shower has a towel dryer, hair dryer, shower gel and shampoo. The room is equipped with dining table, TV / DVD and sofa bed. The room space allows good conditions for work with internet connection and possibility of HP inkjet printer. The bedroom with large double bed has fitted wardrobes with hangers and drawers with plenty of storage. The kitchen has induction hob, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, juicer and grill plate. The laundry has washing machine, drying, iron and ironing board. All rooms have large doors with double glazed and give access to a balcony with long views of the neighborhood and surrounding streets. The building is modern and safe and two lifts. There is a parking space for a car in the private parking inside the building. The input and output of the private garage is made through an electronic control safely.
Upon check-in will be made known to the guests a manual with more detailed rules on the operation of the apartment to ensure a good stay. The contact via email and phone will remain along the stay for any other matter that is necessary.

quiet location with the garage parking
In a quiet neighborhood, 3rd floor with elevator. Very spacious, a little far from downtown, but using uber, bolt is very affordable and easy. Groceries store nearby, about 7 mins walk. Garage parking is the plus. We parked our car during the stay and using uber & bolt to travel in town. No A/C, afternoon sun, a little warm in the afternoon. But a fan in the bedroom & living room, help to cool down in the evening. Big bedroom, a mattress is a little hard but we still had a good sleep. Well equipped kitchen, a little of condiments would be helpful. There is also a washing machine and a dishwasher. Thank you for the apartment.

A smart, modern apartment in a quiet area of Porto, yet convenient for the city centre
We chose this apartment mainly because we were travelling to Porto in our own car and wanted a secure carparking space. The apartment is on the second floor, is accessed by a lift which also accesses the underground carpark. It is conveniently situated between Porto city centre and the A20 (IC23) internal ring road, in a residential area. The apartment is modern, very sunny, light and airy but has window screens and blackout curtains to provide shade if required. The full height windows open onto a balcony which overlooks a quiet road and an area of rather old, but picturesque tiled cottages and overgrown gardens which I understand are of historic value and are awaiting restoration. We had all the equipment required for a self catering holiday. The shower functions well and there was plenty of hot water. The furniture is comfortable and in good condition. There is storage for suitcases etc. We stayed for 5 nights. During our holiday we walked to Porto centre via the Rua de Serpa Pinto - this takes about 30 minutes. We also took the Metro from Carolina Michaelis to Bilhao (for the city centre) and other stations. It is possible to purchase 3-day multiple use tickets for public transport. My husband is a transport enthusiast - he enjoyed the trams, the Sao Bento railway station (an art lover can enjoy the spectacular tiled interior), the bridges over the Douro and the Metro. I enjoyed wandering around back streets looking at tiled facades, stone carvings etc, the second hand / antique shops on the Rua de Serpa Pinto (close to our apartment), the historic city centre and banks of the Douro. We bought a yellow bus 2-day ticket for the hop-on hop-off tourist buses which provide 2 circular tours of the city and nearby coast, plus a visit to a port tasting. We chose Manuel Pocas - a bit of a walk from the bus stop but there is another port cellar nearer the bus route. We visited the House of Henry the Navigator - a famous Portuguese prince with a British connection as his mother was Phillipa of Lancaster, an English princess. We enjoyed our stay in Manuela's flat. For us it was an ideal combination of a quiet base yet within easy walking or public transport of Porto's main sites and easily accessed by car.

Semaine à Porto
Bonne communication avec Manuela. Son appartement est conçu et équipé plus pour 2 personnes même s'il peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Il y beaucoup d'espace de rangement vide. Il pourrait donc y avoir plus de vaisselle et de linge de maison. Surtout pour ceux qui font de long séjour. L'appartement est un peu excentré mais très bien desservi par le transport en commun. Et son gros avantage est son stationnement intérieur sécurisé.
