An amazing home

We loved this place so much—beautiful grounds and an elegant, characterful house. Peaceful at night, surrounded by vineyards, but convenient to Bergerac and the rest of the Dordogne Valley. The hosts were charming and wonderful and helped us immediately with any minor issues. I wish every property delivered so much value. Don't hesitate to stay here.

Beautiful and airy chateau in peaceful surroundings

Beautiful views, elegant rooms, tall ceilings, great bathrooms and well-equipped kitchen. The chateau oozes tranquility, light streams through wide shuttered windows and French doors, with far-reaching vistas across miles of vineyards. The sunsets are beautiful and the decor is trés chic. Béatrice and Francis are a delight, dropping off fruit from their orchards and very welcoming. They speak limited English but google translate worked wonders! Pomport is ideally placed for visiting beautiful villages and markets all over the Perigord. You need a car as the local shops are in Sigoulès, 3-4km away and walkable at a push. Several bakeries close by, but everything closed on Sundays so if you arrive on Saturday pick up enough food to get by until Monday. Bergerac airport is 15 minutes away and there’s a large Leclerc hypermarket very close to the airport - google maps takes you straight there. A lovely restful holiday setting, perfect for a couple of families or one group.

Vacances en famille

Une semaine de vacances en famille, ma femme et nos 2 enfants, ma mère, ma sœur et mon neveu, mes beaux-parents. La maison est superbe, grande, très grande, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée : il ne manque rien ! La piscine, le calme, la vue dégagée et les couchers de soleil... ce fût un régal. Dommage, une semaine c'est fabuleux mais court aussi. Nous avons pu visiter châteaux et villages alentours et bien sûr Bergerac à 15 minutes. MERCI aux propriétaires pour l'accueil et les conseils, merci pour le potager, les plantes aromatiques et les rafraîchissements à notre arrivée. Au plaisir de vous revoir. Pour ceux et celles qui me liront, un seul conseil : Allez-y.

Havre de paix

Grande bâtisse, bien agencée, volumes agréables qui favorisent le bien-être dans ces lieux. La vue sur les vignes, les champs et le calme permet de bien se ressourcer avec une terrasse et sa piscine naturelle . Les propriétaires sont adorables et serviables.

Superbe

Très bonne semaine dans une magnifique demeure ,très bien équipée et très confortable, il ne manque rien. Coucher de soleil splendide Piscine naturelle très agréable avec une vue imprenable sur les vignes. Encore mieux que les photos. A faire sans hésiter. Hôtes très gentils et accueillants.
