A lovely place to stay
The house is so handy for the beach, shops and restaurants. All are within yards of the door but as the property is tucked back it isn’t noisy.
The owners met us on arrival and told us all we needed to know. We were able to bring the car to the gate to unload and reload. Car parking was easy. Either in the nearby pay and display using a voucher for £3.50 a day or on the esplanade for free (3 mins walk away).
The house had 2 very comfortable bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There was a very nice welcome basket of tea, coffee, wine and pastries and fresh milk in the fridge.
We had a great day out to Canterbury and went inside the cathedral. It is beautiful. Whitstable was great too. Oysters and chips in the harbour. We also visited Ramsgate and Margate but they were not so impressive.
It was a really great holiday.
Really nice place. Perfect weekend. the owners were really nice and helpful.
Pictures don't do it justice. Amazing location, lots do do, very convenient for the beach and all the restaurants.
Other reviews mention the staircase and we think they are unjustified, we had no problems as its a standard staircase like our at home, and it looks great. WIFI works great. We will be back!!
The house is very modern and clean, but also comfortable and full of light. Susan and Noel were absolutely charming and helpful. We also enjoyed Broadstairs because of the beaches, the restaurants and the enjoyable atmosphere. No doubt we would stay at the "Deck House" again and recommend it to anyone.
