Welcome home. This gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home has all comforts of home are waiting for your arrival.

We built a beautiful deck in the back yard. The deck is awesome! The deck has a hot tub, table fireplace, barbecue and lots of seating. We will be the only private home for rent in downtown with a hot tub! Queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room, air mattress on top of a regular mattress! Sleeps 9 if your group has mostly couples, we have 5 total beds.

This spacious, private home is conveniently nestled in the corner of downtown Whitefish and is perfect walking distance to fantastic restaurants, shopping and the charming Whitefish nightlife. Free Wi-Fi is included and off-street parking. The home is named, The Manse, after it's use as a pastor's home built by a local church.

The house features three bedrooms. The Cream Room has a king bed with a brand new Sealy Posturepedic pillow top mattress. The Blue Room has a brand new five piece, queen, sleigh bedroom set. The Green Room has a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top, perfect for three to four children or a couple adults! Each bedroom is equipped with a new wall-mounted, flat-screen, smart TV. Watch cable and Netflix's privately from your own room! There is a full bathroom upstairs next to the bedrooms. Bathroom comes with a double, marble top vanity and a deep-soaker tub/shower.

The living room looks right out to bustling downtown Whitefish, or shut the drapes for privacy. The living room is ready for entertainment with leather couch, sofa and chair, flat-screen smart-TV and fireplace in the corner. The dining room has a full size dining table that seats 8. The kitchen has been extensively remodeled and includes a full size stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator. Other amenities include a Keurig coffee maker, sunken oval bathtub, air-conditioning, electric fireplace, four flat-screen TVs, and keyless entry front door. The full bathroom downstairs has a stand-up shower and is shared with the free washer/dryer for your convenience. This shower has a tankless water heater so there is endless hot water! Bring pets or children or yourself to enjoy our fenced back yard sitting in our handy lawn chairs.

Location, location, location! Skiing, boating, world famous Glacier National Park and unbeatable golf are all right around the corner. About Natasha Ostrem

I am a real estate agent and I proudly work with families and investors to find fantastic properties throughout the beautiful Flathead Valley. My husband Chris works in Kalispell at Applied Materials, a large provider of semiconductor equipment. Chris travels a lot with work throughput the US, Europe and Asia. Chris and I hope to travel to a few of his favorite spots he’s discovered over the years. We were married in July of 2013 and live in Kalispell with our dogs Bolt and Stitch. We are both from Montana and we have lots of family in the Flathead. We feel blessed to live in such a beautiful and fun place.

Why Natasha Ostrem chose Whitefish

We chose to purchase this home in Whitefish due to its perfect downtown location. We love to walk down the street for breakfast to Swift Creek Cafe and to our favorite Mexican restaurant Pescado Blanco or head a block away to Central Avenue in downtown to enjoy a drink at the sky bar on the rooftop of Casey’s overlooking Whitefish. We are still uncovering hidden gems right near the house. We recently discovered a walking trail that starts just a block from the house and goes all the way to the Whitefish city beach. There are so many interesting shops, great restaurants and fun places to enjoy live music right nearby; it truly is a perfect spot for a getaway.

What makes this house unique

One of the few homes in downtown Whitefish with a fully fenced back yard. Home is on two city lots so you have some elbow room. Each bedroom has it's own smart TV with Netflix included. Hardwood floors throughout the main level.

Perfectly Located and Cozy!

A group of 5 adults and 1 baby stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful!! The house was comfy and well outfitted for this many people. Everything worked well and we loved the hot tub..when the hot tub went on the fritz Natasha was quick to get it back in working order. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is simply personal preference...animals are allowed pertaining to contacting Natasha and there was just a bit to much animal hair on the throw pillows. Overall the house was perfectly clean only the throw pillows had collected a bit of animal hair and I simply am not a fan of it!! Overall I would suggest this to anyone wanting a perfect place to stay!! I plan to be a returning customer as well!!

We have contacted our cleaning crew and let them know about the issue. We will make sure they are cleaned or replaced right away. We encourage guests to contact us immediately with any issue that may arise. We live locally and can usually address things very quickly.

Great for a group of couples

My husband and I and two other couples stayed in the lodge for a weekend in in March. The location is perfect - we could walk to all the shops, bars, and restaurants. It snowed and someone came and shoveled for us, which was lovely! There is a tv in every bedroom and a good size kitchen, dining room, and living room so we could all have our own space, but still have the option to spend time together. The hot tub was well maintained and a great addition! The owner left us a nice welcome note, all the essentials that we needed for the kitchen, and a bottle of wine and a few beers and water in the fridge. Such a nice touch! Would definitely book again.

Excellent location and Home

Stayed at the Manse for a Whitefish ski trip in January. Location was perfect, restaurants and bars were all within about a block from the house. Super convenient and quiet location. The place was very clean and well set up upon arrival. Hot-tub was also a plus. Would book again.

Everything we needed in great location

Family of 4 (2teenagers) greatly enjoyed our ski vacation in Whitefish. House in great location, walking distance to shops in town and ski bus route, 1 block to 2 great restaurants. Also easy drive to mountain, groceries, movie theater, rock climbing wall etc. Glacier National Park only 40 min away. House had everything we needed and owners easy to communicate with and accommodating. They worked hard to get hot tub operational before we arrived which was added bonus.

Not Quite up to Expectations

The house is great, the location is even better than expected. There were a few small issues that were annoying to the point of frustration and beyond for our visit. After reading all previous reviews before deciding on this home, I was disappointed in the lack of response from the owner concerning a couple of the issues.

It was unexpectedly warm on the day of our arrival and the air conditioner had a really tough time cooling the house down. A simple response of "give it time" from the owner would have helped alleviate our fears that the air conditioner was broken. Thankfully it did manage to catch up during the night and keep up for the rest of the week. The wine and beer and water were a really nice touch, but we were most looking forward to morning coffee, I even packed our favorite Keurig pods for the stay. The Keurig did not work. The electronic locks were a challenge, turn to the LEFT for the front door; the back door - we never figured it out, but we think it was just not working properly :(! We locked ourselves out several times when we went into the backyard and had to keep going around the house to re-enter via the front door. Parking on the street in front of the house was more of a challenge than expected so we mostly parked in the space provided behind the house. That meant walking around the block to enter via the front door as we could not work the electronic lock on the rear door.

On the positive side, the walk to coffee shops and restaurants downtown was easy and pleasant. And just down the street is access to a wonderful greenway for morning and evening walks. The beds were comfortable and we slept well after the house cooled down after the first night. As we had to "go out" for coffee, we left the house fairly early most mornings to explore the GNP and surrounding areas and didn't return until late afternoon or early evening. Cooking was a bit of a challenge, we found it easier to go back out for dinner or get takeout, but there is a great Safeway close by for essentials and groceries. The large TV's throughout the house were awesome, but we found we really didn't spend much time in the house to watch TV. That's a good thing! We kept getting dropped from the Wi-Fi and had to constantly re-connect (select and re-enter password). But again, as we were only in the house for a few waking hours, that was more of an annoyance than a major issue.

Owner's Response: I'm very sad that our guests didn't fully enjoy their trip and that items caused frustration. We always try to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. One guest called me to tell me the Keurig wasn't working but stated "it was fine" because the house also has a traditional coffee maker. The guest that I spoke to, is not the same one that wrote this review; the guest I spoke to loved the house! We've since replaced the Keurig. The door locks use a 4 digit code and nobody has had an issue before. If I had been asked about the locks, I would have walked the guests through how they work face to face but they didn't mention the issue. Both doors can easily remain unlocked while at the house so I don't know how they "locked themselves out." I double checked the back door and all I can figure is they left the handle locked from the inside. We also haven't had issues with the AC or Wi-Fi in the house before. I feel horrible they didn't enjoy their stay more. I would have done everything possible to fix it if I had known.
