Beautiful cottage in a lovely area.

Clean and well equipped cottage. Beautifully furnished and cosy to come home to. Helicopters at nearby culdrose were fascinating to jack (3) and food lovely at the black swan in the village and the old inn at mullion. Thank you for a great holiday and we will return.

My family and I are just back in the South East after a perfect week away in Gweek. The property was absolutely perfect. There were 5 of us in our party. My wife and I along with our 2 young children and my mother and the property was more than big enough for us all. It was notably very stylish. No doubt the owners have gone to great lengths to make it feel comfortable and we'll equipped. The huge kitchen was perfect for our needs and we made the most of the TV and Blu-ray player in the evenings after long days out. The cottage itself is secluded from the main roads into town and it was incredibly quiet. The pub was a short walk down the road and we made the most of the mobile fish and chip shop on the green on a Wednesday. Location wife we were only a short drive from Kynance Cove, gunwallow and a number of other coves and beeches. Portleven and Gelatin were no more than 15-20 minutes away and we visited these in addition to the 40 odd minute drives to St Ives, st Michaels Mount and the Eden Project. There was sooooo much that we wernt able to do just because of the length of our break. On the plus side, it means we will have to come back! Thanks to the owners for creating the perfect family environment for our holiday.

The cottage is lovely and cosy in a quiet location

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is lovely and cosy in a quiet location, secluded garden ideal for BBQ's. The kitchen could do with being slightly better equipped for self catering, (not enough utensils or pasta/salad type dishes) but otherwise a lovely place to stay and would recommend as a great base to explore the area. We had a wonderful time, thank you

Great location in wonderful Gweek

  • 5 of 5

Weather not great the last week of May but the cottage made up for the disappointing climate.

Lovely warm, cosy evenings spent in front of one of the log burners after days spent in beautiful Cornish gardens and walking to picturesque beaches.

The Gweek Sea Sanctuary is also worth a visit.

Spacious character filled property in a great location.

  • 4 of 5

The property and location were exactly what we were looking for, lots of space to spread out, very comfortable and within walking distance to a very good pub and local shop. So much to see in the surrounding area, a really good place to spend a relaxing and enjoyable two weeks.

Pretty Cornish cottage

  • 4 of 5

Had an enjoyable week in this cottage in the small village of Gweek. The house was comfortable and well equipped, apart from not having a tea pot! A lady working at the village shop lent us one from her home for the week, which was very kind. We ate at the local pub on our first evening; the food was fine - typical pub grub. Not having booked a table they were very helpful and made sure they could fit in our party of 8. Fish and chips from the van on the village green on Wednesday was good, although plan on a wait. The half hour we were told stretched to just over an hour. There is a large Sainsbury's supermarket a few miles towards Helston from Gweek.
