Five bedroom home situated on 2 acres on Goose Creek. There are two bedrooms with king size beds, one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bedroom with a full size bed and one bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds. All linens are included. The house has two full baths and an outdoor shower with hot water. Enjoy your coffee in the morning on the sun porch and watch the deer cross the property. Kick back in the evening and watch the flat screen television over the fireplace or connect to the internet with the free WiFi.
Outside there is a boat dock and small private beach. A barbecue is available for your use. Light a fire in the fire pit, roast some marshmallows and enjoy an incredible sunset!
This home has been in our family for 3 generations. Our grandmother purchased it and our father was raised here. It has been handed down to us to continue the legacy. We love to make new memories with our children in this beautiful location.
The property is situated on Goose Creek with a boat dock for easy access to wherever you want to go on the water. Or, walk across the street to the beach for a relaxing day. Truly a beautiful hidden treasure located in Southold.
Six friends and I enjoyed this wonderful house for a ladies weekend retreat. Dean was very friendly and accommodating. He met us at the house and showed us around. The house is spacious, clean and very well kept. The description of the house was accurate, however the online pictures didn't do it justice. It is a truly beautiful location! We enjoyed having our coffee in the morning overlooking the water. We also got to enjoy the kayaks! It is in a great location and the nearby towns are charming! We enjoyed our stay so much! We would definitely return here!
Fantastic house and the owner was exceptionally helpful. We can't wait to stay here again.
This house turned into a home when our family all got together to celebrate my birthday. Once you picked your bedroom from one of the five huge rooms, and set your things down, all there was was to do was put your bathing suits on and enjoy all the outside had to offer for the rest of the stay. From swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, or just putting your toes in the sand. The biggest decision of the day was where to have your morning cup of coffee. Out on the dock or in the side porch, each offering a beautiful view. Thanks Dean for a birthday to remember. We will be back.

I live roughly 3,330 miles away from my future wife- needless to say that planning birthday gifts requires creativity and planning. This year, we (big shoutout to my fiance's sister's for helping!) planned a surprise birthday weekend for my weekend to include a stay at this wonderful house in Southold. Every year, my fiance and her family travel to the east end for brunch & a visit to the vineyards. This year's trip was much of the same, but my fiance didn't realize that the last "vineyard" would lead to this house, with a room full of friends & family ready to scream "surprise" as he entered the house (i was skyped in for the surprise).
As you can imagine, orchestrating the surprise required planning. The owner, Dean and his sister were so accommodating; they helped with an easy key exchange to get us started. The birthday weekend scored major points, and the house itself made a lasting memory for my fiance and family..here's why: I picked the house because of the proximity to the vineyards and the fact that it nestles on the water. My fiance and her family greatly enjoyed the vast property as they did yoga on the grass in the morning, and had a picnic on the backyard tables in the afternoon. Also, they made full use of the kayaks and water activities. I would recommend this house to anyone who is planning a relaxing, fun, and unforgettable weekend on the east end. Thank you Dean! We will be coming back!
Recently spent a relaxing girls weekend at this beautiful house on the water and we are already talking about going back. The house had tons of space and all the amenities needed for a great weekend, with my favorite part being the outdoor shower! We enjoyed going to the beach across the street, taking the kayaks out and simply just sitting outside taking in the breath taking views! The owners were super great as well! Can't say enough good things about this house and location!
I strongly recommend this house for anyone looking for a weekend getaway in the east end of Long Island. The house is gorgeous, comfortable and ideally located.
The pictures posted here don't even do justice; the house has (arguably) the best location in the entire east end. The house is right at the beginning of Goose Creek, which is a serene bay/channel that is perfect for kayaking, swimming or even just floating in an inner tube. There's a nice public beach across the street that is a 2-3 minute walk from the front door of the house. Or, if you don't want to walk, you could grab an inner tube at the nearest hardware store and float 150-200 yards under the bridge to the beach like we did. The water all around the house, beach and creek was very warm and calm - perfect for any and all water sports. The dock at the house can easily fit any boat or wave runner 22' and under, and the Peconic bay looked like a ton of fun to cruise around in. The neighbors and folks we ran into in the area were all super friendly, there were families with children all over; it really was the ideal vacation setting.
Dean and Brian are very responsive, very helpful hosts. They both made themselves available and communicated regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves to the fullest. Brian was nearby and helping out for the weekend while Dean was on vacation, and Dean was still communicating with us while he was away!
We will definitely be back in short order. Our three-day weekend was not nearly enough to do everything we wanted at the house, or in the surrounding area.
In Southold there are many vineyards to enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting. If you prefer to be on the water, check out Peconic Water Sports for tubing, kiteboarding, waterskiing and more. The historic Horton Point Lighthouse & Nautical Museum provides beautiful views of the L.I. Sound. Or kick back and relax at the town beaches.
Stroll through historic Greenport with it's many small shops & boutiques, ice cream parlors, restaurants and art galleries. Restaurants range from fine dining to crab shacks. A visit to Claudio's Clam Bar and a ride on the 1920s carousel for the kids is a must on a beautiful afternoon.
