This is the second time my family has stayed here and it is a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing experiencing! Everything we need is here and the owners are caring attentive people. The pool is warm, clean and just what Michiganders need at Christmas time! Highly recommend!
Beautiful, clean, serene, home had everything one could want or need. Great vacation Home!!!
this place was by far one of the best vacations I have taken my family on, The house was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Very tastefully decorated, the area was also very nice, lots of things to do not too far away.
The best part about the place was the gorgeous pool, my family and I were barely out of it except to take the kids to the beach or other local attractions.
Ray was awesome to deal with, we had no issues at all at his beautiful house.
I would give this place 6 stars of 5 if I could.
Our second visit to this beautifully positioned and maintained home with private pool surrounded by woodland. Everything was as described. Ray gave great info before the stay and called us after arrival. The pool cleaner called too with his wife and were most friendly. I would highly recommend to friends and family even though we'd like to keep it our secret! Activities in the area are numerous but we recommend the Wildlife Park nearby + spring river canoeing; exploring the coastline by boat; Orlando's theme parks are within reach (about 1 3/4 hr drive away); Tampa and it's nearby beaches are closer and worth a visit too.
My family and I spent most of January at the Luxury Villa and truly enjoyed it. The heated pool was the highlight for my 12 year old "mermaid" granddaughter! The owner Ray was very attentive and responsive. Everything was so nice , clean and well cared for that there were no issues or problems of any kind. My family plan to return soon
Sugarmill Woods is a unique location on Florida's beautiful Nature Coast and is located near the Gulf of Mexico, south of Homosassa. It covers 6000 acres most of which has not yet been built on and was specifically designed to offer each home with a woodland or golf course view. The villa is centrally situated on a double lot with woodland either side to offer privacy. During the winter months manatees overwinter in the crystal clear waters from springs which stay at a constant 72F. At the nearby Homosassa Springs State Park manatees can be viewed all year round from an underwater gallery. Golf is the major sport for the area and there are numerous golf courses nearby . The nearest beach with white sand is a 20 minute drive away. River tours are available in Homosassa and Crystal River to swim with the manatees and for fishing, snorkeling and scalloping trips
