If you could sum up Pencreek House in one word, it would probably be ‘spacious’. That, or ‘luxury’. This five bed house can easily accommodate eight people, and one well-behaved dog, thanks to its generous layout and its handy location within six acres of countryside. A lot of places in Cornwall can claim to have great views, but when it comes to Pencreek House, the views on offer across the river to Falmouth and beyond are truly unrivalled.

Everything about Pencreek House goes beyond what you would expect. Where other properties have one living area, Pencreek House has several; where other properties offer a flatscreen television, Pencreek House has a projector; where other properties offer bedrooms with dressing tables, two of Pencreek House’s sleeping areas offer dressing rooms.

The open plan kitchen and dining area is likely to be the central hub of your stay, offering a great place to catch up while enjoying some food prepared with fresh and tasty local produce. The glass feature dining table is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the light and views on offer thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling windows and doors which lead out onto the terrace. Whether you want to dine inside or out, the choice is up to you. Either way, you will be to eat, relax, and enjoy those fantastic views across to Falmouth.

The kitchen is incredibly well appointed, featuring a large hob, single oven, microwave, dishwasher, wine rack and a US style fridge freezer. The generous central island area allows you to prepare meals while still being sociable. Also in this living space are several comfortable chairs arranged around a coffee table in front of the windows, making this the perfect place to start the day with coffee and a newspaper, or to while away a little time in the evening with a glass of wine and a good book.

If it’s sitting down and relaxing you want to do, this property offers so many choices that you could spend each day in a different spot! As well as the central kitchen and dining area, you will find two enormous living rooms, each offering an array of comfortable sofas and irresistible views. The sunken living area offers a large fire, projector and drop-down screen, while the other features another small dining area. Leading off from this room is a further seating area, which could be used as a playroom for the children, or a study.

Also on the ground floor are a bedroom with double bed, a bathroom with shower and a further WC.

The luxury continues upstairs, where you will find two generous bedrooms complete with dressing rooms, sofas and ensuite bathrooms, and a further two well-proportioned bedrooms, one of which features a double bed and the other twin singles. Also on this floor is the family bathroom, featuring a bath with shower over, WC and hand basin.

The property is located in six acres of land, complete with access to the water and its own private slipway - a mooring can be arranged on request. Even if you aren’t bringing a boat or kayaks with you, what could be better than sitting near the water and enjoying a good book, a picnic, or a daydream?

Pencreek House has so much on offer that it feels like we’ve barely even scratched the surface of this amazing property.
