2 fully setup bathrooms with tubs/shower.

Kitchen is fully setu,p large fridge &freezer, oven and stove, toaster, mixer coffeemaker and all the pots and pans etc

Garden: pool (w/ heater) 3-9 feet deep, several utensils for use. Garden table and chairs, and loungers. Weber BBQ grill. Pick your own coconuts!

Washing machine/dryer in separate laundry room,

General: Large living room with 2 small couches. 2 TVs (one in bedroom), DVD players.

Alarm system w/ guest code. Also available: folding baby bed, child car seat, 3 fully equipped golf bags. No smoking inside, please.

About Silvia

We are a Germany-based family that lives in Florida only 2-3 months a year. We believe that our place is worth sharing. Our bilingual manager lives only a couple of blocks away, keeps the property permanently clean and in shape and helps you in having a great stay.

Why Silvia chose Southwest

After my parents bought this house in 1997 and went back to Germany in 2010, i soon realized i wanted to keep it for several reasons. We don´t want to be locked up in a gated hotel/spa facility, we enjoy beaches and watersports as much as visiting a big city (Miami), or cultural events (Kravis Center, Harriet Himmel theater). Within 1 1/2 hours, you find everything for a perfect vacation, from a crowded NFL game to the quietness of the Everglades. The only thing you won´t find, of course, is snow.

What makes this house unique

This place lets you feel like a Florida resident, not a tourist. It is cozy and yet large enough for three couples or a family with several children. We always enjoyed the overall quietness and yet closeness to everything. The sound of morning doves in the early hours, the sound of a train in the distance, watching lizards getting tanned while getting tanned yourself in the pool. West Palm Beach downtown and city place (as well as Lake Worth and Boynton Beach further south) are offering a large variety of entertainment, gastronomy, leisure, and shopping - without ever getting too crowded.

Neat and clean Perfect location for us

Enjoyed the pool. Went to Lake Worth beach. Also went to Jupiter often for Cardinals spring training. Also only 5-10 min from airport.

BUYER BEWARE

We live in the Northeast and thought renting a house in the West Palm Beach area would be nice, wrong. We are home owners and have had rental properties. Here's what you need to know.

1. TRAINS: The Amtrack is only a block away and runs through the neighborhood every 2 to 3 hours 24 hours a day. It BLOWS THE HORN continuously even at 12 am, 2 am, 5 am and 7 am and so on, including the weekend. We did not get a good nights sleep the whole time we were there. We were so tired during the day that making any plans was hard. If you are a light sleeper or have children, beware.

2. HEATED POOL: One of the draws of the house was the heated pool. When we arrived we found the pool water was cold, so we called the owner. Guess what? There is an EXTRA FEE not advertised of $15 dollars a day! We were very disappointed and could not use the pool while there. Nice Huh?

3. DOORS: You have to lock yourself into the house. I am not kidding, to lock the doors, you need a key to the 2 exits. This is a safety issue, imagine an emergency in the middle of the night and needing a key to get out of the house....

4. NEIGHBORHOOD: It is surrounded by industrial buildings and is under construction. Many of the streets are closed off. I was very disappointed. One day we heard a large crash in front of the house, a car parked in front of the house was extensively damaged. A neighbor who lives 7 or 8 houses away left the scene, he was intoxicated and 3 police cars arrived to interview witnesses. His old SUV hit a silver Lexus. Thankfully our rental was in the driveway or it could of been us.

5. HEATED WATER: We had to wait at least 45 minutes between showers because the water heater is so small. We had to take shifts, showering.

The house is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It has mismatched furniture and does not have an alarm clock. Overall we were disappointed and when we confronted the owner of the pool he said he would start putting that in his ad. That was a week ago, guess he has not gotten to it yet!

Owner's Response: BUYER BEWARE“: We are not intending to sell the property. We love it. 1. The train horns (it is not Amtrak, btw) are indeed a hot topic in the whole community, not only in our neighborhood. The nightly horn sounds are expected to end soon; they are currently improving safety regulations along the railroad crossings for that reason. 2. We will certainly mention the extra fee for the pool heater in the future (Already updated} 3. Yes, we do have two doors, entrance and backdoor. They both have standard deadbolt locks, we recommend to just leaving the key in the lock or lock bottom no key needed 4. It is simply not true that our neighborhood is surrounded by industrial buildings. The house is located in a typical middle class Florida neighborhood. Concerning the accident: Unfortunately, we could not find anything about it in the public police files 5. We deem 40 gallon water heather large enough for two bathrooms and pretty new. We never had any complaints about cold water, not even with 6 persons visiting. (Just confirmed with staying guests) For future guests: We are always open to hear your complaints or suggestions while you are visiting in order to make you feel at home

We really enjoyed our stay at this awesome house with pool! The house had everything what you need! The rooms are great! The beds are comfortable! Grocery Store( Publix) 3 min away from the house! The Palm Beach Zoo 6 min away! Dowtown 15min! Beachs are around! Outlet Mall 10min! Perfect house in a perfect location! Pool was great to have some fun! Big backyard to enjoy a lot of BBQs! The owner is so nice, if you need help shes directly there to help you! Neighborhood was quiet and friendly! Airport is close to the house! House was sooo clean! We dont had any concerns!!! Thanks for this wonderful and overhelming stay!!!! You are a wonderful landlord!!!!

The house has everything you need and more.

Silvia was very helpful. We had a couple small issues come up, and she took care of them right away. We had two little boys with us and all the toys that was there was a big hit. My wife forgot some of our sons shorts, and Silvia shipped them to us. Thank You! We had a great time.

Stayed for the month of March, with 5 grown kids, 1 7 month old grandchild for last week. Had a really GREAT time in this rental. Unfortunately 2 weeks before arrival I fractured my knee so was quite limited for first while with walking and transportation, so really appreciated that Publix was SO close. Great that it was a bungalow, with few stairs. Sylia, the manager was AMAZING. Nothing was too small for her to correct. Answers texts immediately, which is really appreciated. Pool heater put in 2 months previously, so pool was so very nice. Lots of outdoor space around pool, and as mentioned by others, always a shady and sunny spot as needed. Had my sister's family over for a BBQ, which totaled 12 people, easily accommodated outside with plenty of seating.

It was very close to many places. Whole Foods and Palm Outlets very close drive. Total Wines ( a must, particularly if you have 2 grown boys very much into Craft Beers, they were blown away by choices) and Gardens Mall a bit farther drive, but just off I-95. Close also for Spring Training Baseball, nice small venue off I-95 at 45th St. Airport super close.

Try to do the West Palm Beach Food tour early on in your stay, will set you up for the rest of the trip re food sources and restaurants. I have done many food tours in NA, and Europe and must say this was the best , with quantity of food served AND quality. Learned alot about history of WPB also. Guide was superb! Also, Greenacres Market, off Jog, from 10th street exit from I-95, about 20 minute drive, has SOO much produce, and amazing prices, well worth the drive, as food in Florida is expensive in bigger supermarkets. Really enjoyed this place, and location

Neat bungalow located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood area, close to several beaches. Nice backyard with a large cool deck area and pool, surrounded by palm trees. Perfect for a relaxing pool&beach vacation. Close to downtown and City Place with a lot of bars, restaurants, theater&movie theater. New Outlet Mall and don´t miss every Thursdays live concert on Clematis Rd near Intracoastal, when the city comes together.

1/2 mile away from I-95, this place also serves as a hub for day trips to Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Everglades, Fort Myers/Naples, popular shopping malls and outlets.
