About Fabrice gallean
Since moving to Hudson I have been involved in the restoration of historical buildings and churches in the area. I personally restored this building in 1997, which included a new roof, windows, plumbing, bathrooms, kitchens, heating and air conditioning.
Fabrice gallean purchased this Apartment in 1999
Why Fabrice gallean chose Hudson
The main reason we purchased this property was the location on Warren Street. The 200 block is a mix of residential and commercial properties making for a comfortable neighborhood feel. The building is also set back from the street and possesses a lovely side garden for added privacy and sense of space in the city.
What makes this Apartment unique
Large windows and side garden as well as being set back from the street make the apartment very airy and bright . The building is within walking distance of the train station and the main business area of shops and restaurants.

Very comfortable and spacious flat in a great location
Really enjoyed my stay here. The apartment is very spacious and open with lots of natural light. It's also a great location -- a quiet block with lots of good restaurants, shops, and cafes very close by. I would definitely stay here again.
Great apartment with nice furnishings and natural light. No problems except for a shower curtain rod that fell down twice. The host has everything in place for a great stay. Recommend highly!
Hiking trip before NYC
Great location, clean, was a great spot to head out to Catskill hiking, then easy walk to train station
Hudson was a great place to visit
What a wonderful place! And Fabrice is an excellent host! Thank you so much!
We rented this apartment for a friend visiting from Europe she LOVED it. And so did we on several occasions when she invited us to dinner, and cooked with great ease in the fullly stocked kitchen. The apartment is flooded with light, beautifully furnished, very comfortable, had everything she could possibly need. Looking forward to arranging another stay in the future...and though we live near by, we hope to come for a stay ourselves as well! Thank you very much.
So great...I almost don't want to share!
We have stayed in this apartment multiple times, as well as other rooms and vrbo's in Hudson, and this is by far our favorite! Lots of room, sunny and stocked! The kitchen always has some good choices of water, juice and soda + milk and coffee and the bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste, in case you forgot to bring your own. Plenty of large soft towels and a super-comfy bed. There's even a second bed that pulls away from the wall, which we've never used before....but due to some allergies my husbands breathing was so loud this trip that I was happy to have another bed option so I could get a good nights sleep. The apartment is also a few short steps to our favorite restaurants, shops and gourmet food shops!
The apartment was very quiet and the owner Fabrice is super accommodating and helpful!
As mentioned in my title...the apartment is so good I almost don't want to share the news as it's definitely getting booked more often and we can't always get a reservation. However the owners always go out of their way to make our stay perfect that I felt I had to share how much we love it!
Exceptional Place and Location -- Worth a Return Visit!
I am not one to write reviews unless I find something exceptional. I've been coming to Hudson since 2004, and have stayed in many places found online. So, I am not a newbie as to what to expect. Hudson is a lovely town with a mix of old-world charm with a sophistication that attracts city dwellers while preserving its appeal. I come here to write, and to enjoy what the town has to offer. Past experiences have shaped my expectations about cab service, WiFi, and Cable. In sum, with each trip, I stay at a new place hoping for the best.
My weeklong stay at the Historic 1785 Thomas Jenkins House certainly defied my expectations. First, the location in the center of town offers much for anyone who wants to experience Hudson. During my daily walks, I came upon a nice mix of used and new bookstores, retail outlets, restaurants, coffee and antique shops. I enjoyed reliving that experience as I peered through the many large windows in my unit right onto Warren Street. This is enhanced by the design of this unit: a spacious sun-drenched living space matched by an open and large kitchen. The unit’s open design affords entry into the bedroom by way of the living space on two sides, with a bathroom at one end. The bedroom offers plenty of storage space in both dressers and a large king sleigh bed.
Clean, fully-furnished, and well-equipped, the place also includes a lot of lateral flat space to pile books and notes, write, set up a laptop for work, and host a dinner for six. Many lounge seats also offered places to read, relax, and entertain. What I didn’t expect were all the extras: I found plenty of cooking utensils and cookware to prepare meals every night; cable service functioned well; Wifi worked for video conferencing; and, a full set of amenities in the bathroom included personal bottles of soap and shampoo and very thick towels. These details speak to owner’s desire for repeat customers, and it worked. When I return to Hudson (probably later this year) I will, for the first time, return to the same place. Special thanks to Fabrice, who was both responsive in setting up the reservation and for making the unit so comfortable.
