lovely cottage, lovely location but is there a scam on the fees charged ?
clematis cottage was a well appointed cottage, warm and cosy. the 'Martins' were a very helpful, friendly couple and the location perfect for the Peaks and Dovedale. BUT BEWARE, if you book this cottage you will be charged 2 lots of booking fees as this is not 'direct' with the owners ie. 'owners direct' charge you a fee then immediately pass you on to ''sykes' cottages who charge you another fee, thus, a £222 stay cost £ 60 in fees !!! is this a scam ? it is certainly not good practice !!! jeffrey mccann
