Stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed the place very much....it has all you can ask for....close walks to all the sights. We should have stayed longer.
Comfortable Apartment with Beautiful View and Perfect Location
The apartment is well appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The photo of the view from the balcony is 100% accurate and provides a simply gorgeous view of the city on a nice sunny deck. The property managers were very helpful in getting us checked in and checked out.
Hello Mr. Wang,
Glad you enjoyed the stay, thank you so much for your 5 star review. It'll be a pleasure welcoming you again should you decide to come back to Lisbon.

The rooms are very small and not convenient even for a small luggage
There is no elevator and you need to drug your luggage up to the top floor using the narrow steep stairs
It is an old building and there is a strong smell of sewage in the apartment
Great appartment, good location!
We are a family of 5 and we loved this appartment. No elevator though and it's on the top floor (but great view!!)
Modern, clean, and well equipped.
Great location and beautiful apartment with all the amenities
Apartment is in a central spot close to downtown and several museaums. Also convenient to the Metro for easy commuting. Hosts were great in meeting us and checking us out on the other end of our trip
Would highly recommend
Beautiful views, great location!
We enjoyed our stay in Principe Real from start to finish. The apartment is close to great restaurants, parks and shopping. We walked everywhere! Views from the rooms and terrace are breathtaking. The managers are extremely nice and helpful, giving us great advice on where to go and what to do. They were also very kind and understanding when one of our children ruined a set of sheets. This is a great option for active people- might be difficult for elderly, because of the stairs, but we loved everyminute of our stay.
PI1 has a sister property – PI2- which is very similar to it and also featured in Homeaway- they are the only apartments in the top floor of our building. These two apartments can be combined and rented together to give you a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and two stunning terraces with delightful views of Lisbon.
Inserted in the artsy and alternative neighborhood of the Principe Real, the building is surrounded by gorgeous buildings, beautiful gardens (Principe Real, Jardim Botanico) and a peaceful plaza with charming cafes/ restaurants. In rua da Escola Politecnica, there is now the Museum of Science (the former Natural Sciences University), with its interesting azulelos (tiles) and beautiful preserved amphitheater. Down the street you will find the Casa Museu Amalia, housing memorabilia of the high priestess of Fado of all times. A bit further down, there is Assembleia da Republica, the Portuguese House of Parliament. Of note is a 100 year plus café in rua da Escola Politecnica- Cister- which is an institution and has very tasty pastries and savories.
The property is 10 min on foot the Metro/Subway- station Rato, it is easy to walk to the Av. Liberdade and Baixa (15min). The historic number 28 tram stops nearby (close to Assembleia Republica) and is an alternative to take you to the Baixa and Alfama quarters of the city.
There are a number of restaurants at your footstep offering a variety of cuisines. There are also a number of choices for bars & discos within walking distance catering to mixed, gay and straight patrons. A easy 10 min walk brings to the middle of Bairro Alto and Chiado with even more restaurants, bars and discos. There are a number restaurants there offering live Fado performances.
Close to everything, easy walk to key attractions…Stay with us.
