Many more are just a short drive or bus ride.
No need for a car to enjoy a holiday here as a local bus stops here on request (Monday to Saturdays) and will take you to our three nearby beaches as well as to Tenby, Pendine Sands and Amroth - you can visit a different beach every day of your holiday because Pembrokeshire has more than 50 beaches, including many award-winners for water quality. Look for Blue Flag winners if you want full facilities or Green Coast winners if you prefer the more wild and unspoilt natural beaches like Barafundle. Even the beach food is award-winning at Freshwater West at Cafe Mor. Every beach here is a winner as each and every one is unique.
You can relax with a meal or a drink on the decking and be entertained by our many garden birds and rabbits, while enjoying superb views over Pleasant Valley and Stepaside, towards Carmarthen Bay.
It's only a 20 minute walk to Wiseman's Bridge, or for sandy beaches walk about 25 minutes in the the other direction to Coppett Hall, and 5 minutes further from there brings you to Saundersfoot Harbour and beach. Just a little further along is Glen Beach and If feeling more energetic you can also walk the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to Tenby or Amroth beaches and get the bus back. National Trust sites Colby Woodland Garden and Stackpole are very popular for walkers with good refreshment facilities and frequent events.
You have the best of both worlds here as Forest Grove is set in a beautiful rural location, yet with good shops nearby. Co-op food store is within a mile at Kilgetty.
